Jeff is not Gabe's father, nor has he been involved in Gabe's life for any meaningful amount of time. The two are still slowly getting to know each other and Gabe is still standoffish and a bit resistant to Jeff's attempts to bond. It wouldn't be fitting for Jeff to ground or punish his girlfriend'...

Wow squirrel great addition to this tale! I really like the use of the plastic wrap as an initial layer for his mummification. Loved that Dad's buddies took full control on John! And how they used their military training to truss him up.
