I find that wrapping duct tape around the sub's mouth and around their head works well. Not as well as with stuffing or a ballgag, but it should stay on and be firm enough to get the job done.

With that idea of using saran wrap, I feel like mummification could be very relaxing, since you feel it pressure across your whole body, and its not (ideally) pinching you at any point. Plus it could be used for sensory deprivation, which could help with relaxing if you are comfortable with it.
