Lots of different kinds of cuffs I haven't been able to get my hands on (in?)

Kinda curious about straitjackets too.

Wasn't tied up at the time, but my friends (also my roommates at the time) discovered my handcuff collection.

They had a good time ambushing me frequently over the following month or so.

Seemed to lose interest after that, but it's a fond memory for me.

I'm slightly jealous of several things.
One being able to sleep through that. I'd be awake almost immediately

Haven't tried it yet, but I wouldn't mind experiencing it.
Depending on the circumstances.

Fresh stuff is always welcome. But there are a few I definitely like going back to every now and then.

Several pairs (different brands/styles) of police handcuffs and a pair of shackles.
Kept in a box in my closet.

Fairly easy access to duct tape (with the regular tools.) No rope at the moment.

Fair enough. I can see how that would happen, I suppose.
