When I was younger I absolutely would have. Especially as a teen, I wanted to be kidnapped by an adult around 30. But now I’m married, I definitely wouldn’t want it to actually happen. At least not permanently, like in my fantasy. But for a weekend? Sure.

Hmm, “Mandy, are you still up? It’s Megan.” is not something I would expect her mother to say, so I would rule that one out. I think having some more backstory would be fun, so 'just' a coworker or distant friend would be a bit bland. A sister, old friend, former lover, or something like a neighbor...

I dunno. The story and concept is a lot of fun and interesting but... I just couldn't give any less craps about her backstory, her parents backstory or her grandma's backstory. I understand you're wanting to build a story with Characters with depth and such but I just don't think it fits in at all ...
