What is everyones favourite gag used in mainstream TV & Film? I have a very soft spot for the scene in Les Vacances De L'Amour - La Filiere. White cloth stuffed in mouth with a nice light blue scarf on top.

That cloth does look like it's in there pretty tight! I'm glad you brought this up, we should work on a "gag hall of fame."
The turkish show Silsile produced a pretty effective gag scene;
