The same could be said of rings gags. Never tried one personally but I imagine they're as effective, and as safe. But not as aesthetically pleasing in my opinion

Here I am forced into 100% agreement. Ballgags are just about the safest gag that's also effective. Cleave gags are generally safer but require harmful tightness to be effective.

Never tried a ring gag so I can't comment.

Cleave gags are safer but as you rightly say, require more skill and potentially harmful tightness to work. We have used them but not for a long time.

Ball gags are definitely the best and safest. If you get one with an appropriately-sized soft ball it won't break your jaw. Drooling is a small price to pay for that?

Honestly, if drooling is that much of a concern for some folks, they can add a not-too-tight OTM gag over that to clean up the slobber.

Welcome to the centennial club!

It doesn't bother most people, but suggestions are always helpful just in case someone is bothered by it.

If anything, drooling is quite amusing. When I take my gag out I was it warm soapy water straight away and usually have a good laugh while i'm doing it?

Just one point - a lot of website referring to ballgags say they should not be worn for more than 15-10 minutes. Whether we're tied up or not, Paul and I often have ours in longer.

I think drooling is amusing as well

As you say, you wash it straight away. That's another advantage of ball gags: easily washed and ready to reuse!

Yep, no compromise on this. Really bugs me to see or be able to have ball gag pushed out enough to allow lips to close. It might as well not be there in that case!

I'll stop for lunch at 13:12 - then it will have been in just 3 hours.

I challenge anyone to better that!

Feeling pressure yet? Any discomfort or pain? Or is it just a walk in the park for you?

It's a small, soft ball so that's not hurting. I always have a dry flannel at hand to keep giving my mouth a wipe if the drool gets a bit too much.
