Being Tied up as part of a role ?

So, just something that popped into my head ( though I think I may have seen something similar posted before ? ), which is the Idea of being bound and possibly even gagged, as part of a character role in something like a stage production or other some type of event that required you or someone to be so, like a charity, or fundraiser. either way, have any of you ever experienced being in such a role, and if so , what details can you recall ? ( way that you were bound, gagged, how effective were ties ect ? )
