Your Party Has Been Taken Hostage!

[Detective-Gag]

You’ve been invited to a fancy party with a bunch of ritzy guests, hosted by an incredibly wealthy businessman at his mansion.

Suddenly, a group of masked men in suits crash the party, brandishing firearms, holding the party host at gunpoint.

They announce that they are there to rob the host’s basement vault; and that they will be taking the guests hostage while they break into the vault & steal the goods.

The armed goons start to divide the party guests into smaller groups, and proceed to tie them up with ropes, gagging some with duct tape, others with cloth tied over their mouths. Then they start shepherding the hostages into different rooms within the mansion.

What’s YOUR plan?

Do you resist? Let yourself get taken captive?

Do you try and negotiate with the kidnappers?

Or do you do your best “Die Hard”-impersonation and sneak away, and try to sabotage the robbers?

I'd definitely let myself be taken captive. Hopefully I'd wind up with a beautiful woman. The two of us in a bedroom, hogtied, gagged, and struggling. Her on the bed, me on the floor. Absolutely helpless but not alone. Sounds like a lovely time.
Almost forgot, we'd only be wearing underwear.

I think I'm going to change things up this time and instead of being a damsel in distress, I'll be a heroine.

I'm in the bathroom in another part of the mansion touching up my makeup when I hear the robbers break in. Thinking quickly, I manage to hide myself successfully, taking off my high heels to make sneaking around easier. The gown and opera gloves I'm wearing aren't exactly practical for this situation, but it is what it is. I start sneaking around to find a quiet spot to call the police. I manage to do so successfully and they'll be out in a bit. Until then, I'm on my own.

Sneaking around some more, I encounter one of the robbers who is doing one final sweep looking for any additional hostages. I avoid detection while robber notices something valuable. He holsters his gun and picks up the antique. He is still admiring it when he walks past me and that's when I attack, choking him out.

I take his pistol and while searching his pockets, I find some zipties. I zip tie his wrists and ankles and using a nearby pen and paper, I write a message: "The police will be here soon. Give up now." I find another hiding spot. Soon the robbers realize one of them hasn't checked in. This draws some of them to search for me rather than focusing on breaking into the vault or guarding the hostages, thus slowing down their operation. The robbers start patrolling in pairs, but a few of them are patrolling solo. I manage to take out these few robbers, but know I can't take out the ones patrolling in pairs. I continue to sneak around and create a few distractions by setting off alarms. All these actions are designed to buy as much time as possbile before the police arrive.

Eventually, the police arrive, and they have to focus their attention on them. While some hostages are guarded, others are not. I free the unguarded hostages and lead to way out of the mansion that is not being watched by the robbers. They are now safe with the police and let them know if they see me that I'm not one of the robbers. A standoff ensues and swat is called in. I stay out of the way as SWAT moves in and takes down the rest of the robbers and frees the rest of the hostages. I get rid of the pistol and let my presence known to the SWAT officers, who then escort me out.

Outside, I'm re-united with the other party guests, who thank me for saving them. One of them even jokingly referrs to me as "Jane McClane".

Sorry if this was a bit long, but the creative juices just got flowing.

Ok, in my fantasy, I’m a waitress dressed in a tuxedo uniform handing out canapes when the gunmen burst in and start taking hostages.
Together with my catering colleagues, I’m ushered into the billiards room where our designated gunman asks for a volunteer to help tie up their colleagues.
Naturally I put my name forward for the task (although I make a token effort to feign reluctance) explaining that, as a former Girl Scout I was sure to make a good job of it. The villain produced several strands of rope from a sports holdall.
"Okay- Samantha," The leader says "you will tie up your colleagues and when you're done, I'll tie you up"
That seems more than reasonable I think to myself and eagerly throw myself into the task, taking particular care to make the bonds extra tight on my curmudgeonly supervisor.

"Hurry up, we haven't got all day" He ordered as I finished fastening the rather shapely ankles of one of the waitress staff.

I looked up from my task "You want me to make a good job of it don't you?" I ask, indignantly.

This seemed to satisfy our captor who allowed me to finish my assignment wrapping up all of my fellow hostages.

"Do you want me to gag them too?" I find myself asking helpfully, causing my captives to groan audibly.

The head villain suggested that, yes, this sounded like a first rate idea, but he lamented that he had forgotten to pack any tape.

“Don’t worry” I assured him “I’ll improvise” and gleefully set about re-purposing our uniform pocket squares as makeshift gags.


When it came to my turn he let me fasten my own gag - okay, I insisted - which I was sure to make super tight, just in case he checked - before he securely bound my hands and feet before locking us all in the games room.

Of course, being the experienced teen sleuth that I am, I was eventually able to slip free of my bonds and, without boring you with all the details of my heroic exploits, I hatch a plan that allows me to outsmart the villains and rescue all of my friends (and Emma too - because I'm not a monster!)

Essentially, it's the plot to movie Die Hard only with more ropes and I get to wear a nice tuxedo and heels rather than a disgusting white vest

I liked the bit where the hostages all get annoyed by your assistance. A funny contribution!

Normally I would say captive, but in this situation I would try if I can overpower the captors one by one. 8n this scenario there are five captors.

When they storm in I was with a girl to a bedroom, cause you know, the party was boring anyway. She runs away cause she is scared and I still sneak into the bedroom. I change myself full Black with a mask to look like on of them and I find a roll of ducttape which I hide.

I walk out and notice the first one is a bit distracted and I sneak up behind him, tightly handgag him and drag him away. I would drag him to the bedroom I suppossed to have fun and start to tape his wrests, his elbows, his ankles, under and above knees and then lay him in a hogtape. Then I remove his socks and gag him with them, wrap ducttape around it ofcourse.

The next one was being mean to some people, so I sneak up, handgag and drag him away to the bedroom. I start taping him to the bedpost. Wrests above his head, cheast, ankles, under and above knees and gag him also with his own socks. Two down, three to go.

The next one was walking to the kitchen for something to drink and I sneak up behind him, handgag him and drag him to the bedroom where I tie him to a chair. Wrest seperatly to the chairarms, elbows also. Ankles seperatly to the chair legs and knees also. Ofcourse I gag him with his own socks.

Next one was walking to the toilet so I sneak up behind him, handgag him and drag him to the bedroom. I tape his legs frogtape and mummifie his arms. Then I place him on his knees and I let him sit on the bed also gagged with his own socks.

The last one was searching for the rest. I sneak up, handgag and drag him away. I start to tape his ankles, under and above knees, wrests and cheast and then lay him down on the make up table. There I would tape him to and gag him with his own socks.

I would free all people, and aloud them to give the captors, sorry captives tickle torture before calling the cops

Idealistic option:

I would sneak past the captors, avoiding being roped down by them like everyone else on the mansion. I would take on the captors one by one, freeing the hostages in the process. The boys would applaud my way of fighting off the captors, and the girls would hug me and seek to date me or steal a kiss from me as I rescued them. I would get to the leader of the criminals, who is holding the mansion owner's daughter hostage, who would be bound and gagged , I would defeat the thief leader and free the girl. I would call the authorities quickly and the owner of the mansion would thank me, and his daughter, extremely grateful, invites me to her house to spend more time with her, and I gladly accept, in addition to obtaining the reward for capturing the aforementioned criminal gang .


Realistic Option:

I would allow myself to be captured, I couldn't do anything against subjects with weapons, playing the hero would only get me sent to the afterlife. At least if I end up captured, I'd like to be like this with girls who are beautiful and sexy, and who wear short dresses. If I were to die, then either I would beg for my life to the point of tears or perhaps I would play heroic, I would have nothing to lose after all. If I were to survive, then I could have formed a certain friendship with these girls, or if I get naughty with them, then I would earn a restraining order, but no one would take the experience away from me hehe.


The option that I would like:

A mixture of the two previous options, it would let me capture, bind and gag some of the hostages in a room, but I would be attentive to the captors, details, number, locations, etc. He would subtly try to extract information from the captors, before ending up immobilized with the other hostages in a room. With the help of the hostages, I would free myself, then untie them and try to get rid of the captors along with the hostages we freed. Arriving with the leader, I would try to distract the thief, while the hostages took the opportunity to contact the police. Before my end, police would surround the mansion and suddenly enter the main hall, where the criminal leader and I would be, he would try to take me hostage but I would attack him, and with said distraction, the police would capture him. After the defeat of the criminal gang, he would help free the hostages together with the police. I'd be grateful for a few compliments, but I wouldn't take credit away from the other guests at the mansion for helping me. There wouldn't be a second party, but I'd like the idea.
