A comic/movie

I just had a strange idea: what would you think about creating a comic or a movie from our stories? I think there is some great stuff here that could be turned into a video or something

As an idea it is not bad, although it is difficult to contact the right people online and carry it out physically. It may be the case that those are already known and make homemade bondage videos simulating kidnappings, of those there are many on youtube.

We have previously enjoyed the presence of @Jason Toddman who was/is a dedicted TUGs cartoonist and 3-d artist. He is still active (in spite of increasing visual disability). I am sure he would be open to suggetions as long as they scratched his particular itch.

I'd most certainly go to see that movie in the cinema

I guess it will be really difficult to decide which chapters are the most important ones for the film... that is, unless we want the film to have a duration of over 5 hours or something! Not that I'd object to that.

I'd recommend to write a script from scratch. That's much easier than converting existing stories. Use the standard script format which helps you to estimate the run time. One script page translates to about one minute screen time.

A book, I can recommend for this kind of production, is "Cheap Movie Tricks" by Rickey Bird.

Addendum: You can use screenwriting software that does all the formatting, like "Fade-in".

Crazy suggestion. I'd love to see someone make a video from some of the stories on here. The currently in-progress Summer Camp story is #1 on my list but there are a lot of others. I'm a photographer but have no contacts to put together a cast nor a location so can't do it myself. (If anyone's near me - Richmond VA area - I'd be glad to help.)

I think this is a great idea. I don't really have any contacts/connections/etc. myself, but I definitely support anyone wanting to do something like this. Whether it's a movie, or even a picture set of key scenes, visual representations add an extra layer of realism to people's stories.

A movie that shows tugs games as usual would not be bad that could be seen in movie theaters or in the DVD market, it would give another point of view than the ones used to give bdsm that involve domination or submission.
