I was debating ordering myself one and I was curious if anyone on here had any favourites?
Personally while the classic GP5 Russian gas masks are cool, my favourite would have to be the relatively new British GSR's.

I have a few gasmasks of my own, and honestly I find all of them pretty hot.
The Russian GP5 is not my favourite to wear, but it definitely has an appeal.

Israeli and Canadian military masks are my favourite. They're more comfortable to wear in the long term.
Russian GP5 is THE best for breathplay. Just be sure you don't get one that's too tight, or you'll have trouble wearing it for an extended period.

Yeah I've had a lot of fun wearing GP5's before, but they really aren't comfortable long-term regardless of size, at least compared to others I have worn.

[mention]Pup[/mention] The Canadian military mask was probably the best gasmask purchase I've made.
It's very comfortable to wear, it's adjustable and it looks pretty badass.

One of the guys I mummified back in 2014 asked to wear my Russian GP5, but he found it really uncomfortable after a half hour, even with the duct tape protecting his head. I ended up making him wear my Canadian military mask instead. He was able to wear it for almost two hours and said it was comfortable.

It also doesn't make you sweat nearly as much since the back of your head can breathe, unlike when you're wearing the Russian GP5.

Yeah those are the big draw backs of the GP5's for me, being really sweaty and uncomfortable longterm.
That Canadian one does look effective, I imagine very similar to the GSR's functionality wise, I prefer the looks of the GSR though, even if they remind me a lot of paintball masks.

I know I'll often find GP5's uncomfortable after maybe half an hour ish, and while I can't speak for the long term comfort of the GSR's I've worn one for a bit under two hours and it was perfectly comfortable.

I have many photos, but I dont share them as liberally as I used to in the past. I used to share photos privately with members on the old board only to find them on Tumblr a few weeks later...something I did not appreciate.

I don't share anything unless I wouldn't mind if it was all over tumblr. Mild paranoia plus some past experiences have seen to that. It's life. *shrug*

You can't really use the excuse that the gas mask is so they can breathe properly if you shove the end of the tube in a sneaker you know...
