Out of space

I like chatting a lot, thing is I can only have 5 folders which fill up more quickly than you'd imagine then old messages get deleted. Is there a way around the folder amount limit?
Probably the easiest way, is to delete what you don't want, and download what you want to keep, to a USB (thumb) drive. They're fairly cheap on eBay, and have capacities from 1 GB, up to 128 GB Buy five or ten, so you have enough.
