Perhaps there are ways to make it easier to RP?

As I visit this website mainly to chat and RP, and as I only visit once a week or even less, it is sometimes difficult to find someone to spend time with, as people are either offline or busy or not in the mood. I was wondering if perhaps there was a way to maybe register as "now available for chatting/RP" somehow, and kind of let others know you are online and have the time to play, of course with mentioning the type of people you are looking for. Maybe it could simply be a thread where users can post a message and then delete it when they go offline. I don't know, I'm not an expert on these things) So, just a suggestion, mabe there is a way to make it doable.
