I agree. Since the upgrade, average times seem to be a bit quicker, but there are still slowdowns that, at least to me, render the site unusable. On multiple occasions, I've waited 2 to 3 minutes for a page to load, and I've also gotten "this connection has timed out" notices several times.

Chat is pretty much impossible. My TUGs friends and I have started using email or Fetlife PMs to communicate.

On a couple of occasions, I had to abort uploading installments to one of my stories because the pages loaded so slowly or timed out.

Being able to read others' stories and communicate with like-minded kinksters is great, but the continued slowness of the board is turning an otherwise pleasurable diversion into an ongoing source of aggravation.

EDIT: Case in point -- it took this post 2 minutes and 1 second to load.

I just logged in, and it looks like the site still hasn't finished migrating yet (it's still at 60%). I will keep an eye on this to see it's progress change in the next few days. Hopefully, once it finishes migration, we will have a better running website.

Not sure if this is useful info, but for the past...day and a half I would estimate, the site has been running MUCH more consistently for me.
Also, as an aside, does anyone if the mention feature still works? I may have just forgotten how to use it.

"Mention" doesn't work at the minute.
Probably why we're getting so many annoying nested quotes!

The site just finished its migration to the new server. Hopefully, the site will run much faster than before. Let me know how well the site is loading so I can gauge if it has helped.
