I feel bad for the Main character, so, if it makes you feel better, I would gladly take his place in the hogtie and sock torture!
Great story! Loved every chapter, and ADORED the photos. ( seriously, where do you find those, please DM me )
Anyway, great job dude!

Well Darlin’ I wasn’t disagreeing with your ATAR assessment, just was an amusing jab that happened to also sting a little, though my degree does reduce it
And while character assassination is not on my mind, I’ll happily indulge in some casual sadism and enjoy your (deserved) suffering
Also amusingly enough the one time I had to get a dislocated toe reset I was complaining about Math Methods to distract from the pain

OrdinaryWorld I'll forgive your opening line for making me feel old and it does explain how you've managed to capture moody teenager very well!
A great final part that once again put a smile on my face as I read it. Also educational with regards to the Australian school system although I'm surprised (and jealous) that they let you drop PE so early! I have to say though I feel our narrator got what he deserved!
I hope your success with this little tale encourages you to keep writing. You definitely have a unique voice and style that I very much enjoy reading. Great work!

A pup is for life but especially for bondage so get out the sleepsack and muzzle.
If you love sleepsacks make sure you read Lovingly Zipped Up (M/M)

Nice ending! Now I'm looking forwards to a narrator/Ethan story, of course
*Starts chanting CROSSOVER, CROSSOVER, CROSSOVER!*
Anyway, where was I? Ah, yes, the story. Those socks seem absolutely foul, I understand the reluctance there. But if Mr. Narrator had learned when to keep his mouth shut, he probably could have avoided it. Now he just got a little bit of sticky help to reinforce the lesson.
Love the tidbits of information and the general nerdiness that the narrator emanates. As a historian, I can identify with that. If only I had an older brother like that walking around somewhere...
Really nicely done! Do you have plans for new stories already? I really hope you do, this was great, so I want more!

Didn't expect that tidbit of information to show up here, nice! (Although the information itself is not as nice, but that's basically the same wherever you are nowadays).OrdinaryWorld wrote: ↑3 years ago My strategy to distract myself from boring Maths Methods classes by daydreaming about the world didn’t even work! Sorry, darl, but the crime of disrupting a serious gamer's session without even a simple warning ABSOLUTELY warrants a punishment ...though I will admit this was perhaps a tad harsh - those socks look disgusting! But, as they say, don't do the crime if you can't do the time!
An awesome story with a great narrator, and I'm really glad to have caught this one!

The poor narrator! but with all that grandstanding? The complaining? the passive aggressive attitude? Yeah no sorry. He definitely needed a sock filled mouth and an attitude adjustment!
A great story through and through! Looking forward to more from Chris, Lachlan, our Poor Narrator, and loving the possibility for a cross over as well!

Congratulations OrdinaryWorld!
I'm so proud of you for having successfully completed your very first short tale!
I hope you enjoyed the experience as well as the comments you received as much as we did
I have to agree with everyone else though.
That little twerp was HUGELY deserving of the tight bondage and raunchy gag he got imposed on him.
Serves his well for disrespecting his puffer-jock brother and college-stud Chris
Have fun laundering that raunchy old stinker and basking in the stench of your big brother's pungent shoe, boi!
Very much enjoyed this.
Really hope you'll bless us with another one of your tales in the not so distant future.

The narrator DOES NOT appreciate your casual sadism. He still thinks it was undeserved!
Well, I suppose the emotional pain of Maths Methods is good for something
Christ, I'm so tempted to drop down to General/Further.
That was so hot! Loved every word of it. Sequel sequel sequel!

Hol' up, you think the narrator deserves a punishment, but you like he is "great"? What a man of contradictions

Pretty ballsy of you to be speaking to the Mighty Volo in such a manner, buddy-boi.
It sure sounds like the narrator ain't the only one in need of a tight roping and some socks to keep him from spouting heressy!

Who knows! An Ethan/Narrator story might be the next idea I work on.
And yes, I was flexing my knowledge of Euro politics
Chucked that in so that it isn't just my fellow Victorians who are getting all the cultural references.
Are we more of a PvdA person? D66? FvD?

Awesome story, I think I had missed chapter 2 but got all caught up!! But this was a great story, definitely got me hooked and wanting more!! Hope we get to see more soon!
Interesting to see the B&G universe grow a little bit and from a different perspective!
Well I believe the narrator had it coming to him. Had he'd been my little brother and walked in front of the TV while while myself and a friend were gaming and mouthed off too, yeah you might just be in a similar situation. Luckily I'm a reasonable guy and wouldn't be to mean unless you kept digging yourself a deeper hole
Overall, this was a very good start to writing and I hope to see more in the future!!

You misunderstand me, friend! A most punishable narrator, but a great writing style by the author!OrdinaryWorld wrote: ↑3 years ago Hol' up, you think the narrator deserves a punishment, but you like he is "great"? What a man of contradictions
I am the Mighty Volo, binder of men great and small, master of methods most malignant in the art of capture and enslavement, Tickler Extraordinaire, and Master of the Company, which you may have read aboutOrdinaryWorld wrote: ↑3 years agoOh, what's so mighty about him?bondagefreak wrote: ↑3 years agoPretty ballsy of you to be speaking to the Mighty Volo in such a manner, buddy-boi.

My degree is actually a Bachelor of Arts: Politics and International Relations.
Stick with Methods, it’s a pain and I hated it but it’s doable and you get a nice bit of scaling for it. You’ll do fine, just remember stuff like Khan Academy and don’t be afraid to ask for help with concepts your unsure of. Provided you understand the basic concepts you’ll do fine.

Much appreciated! And I'm quite on the left of the whole political spectrum, so more GroenLinks (GL, our Greens). But PvdA is also perfectly fine, they don't differ all that much anymore nowadays. You didn't pick the easiest country, politically seen, with our 17 (or 18 by now) political parties!OrdinaryWorld wrote: ↑3 years ago And yes, I was flexing my knowledge of Euro politics

And it seems like our narrator isn't the only one with a big mouth, looking at the conversation above

I would be too, istg if the Liberals get reelected here in a year's time...
Surprised the child benefits scandal didn't sink Rutte and the VVD tbh.

Note To Readers
This is for those who may have missed this, this story shares some crossover elements with bondagefreak's Bound and Gagged in a Sleeping Bag, his series Easy Prey 1 & 2, and his currently ongoing story Easy Prey 3, as they are all set in the same universe. The enjoyment of this story may be partially decreased due to a lack of familiarity with the base texts.
Cheers everyone

If you do well enough their are options. Specifically you can gun for graduate programs (give them a look they advertise early in the year and require you to either finish or be finishing a degree). I’d look with DFAT or DPMC. Or you can try and get policy work if you specialise better than I did To for extracurricular stuff like mock UN meetings and ask lecturers and tutors for advice they’ll help you, especially if you show you care.OrdinaryWorld wrote: ↑3 years agoOoooh, that's my plan. No clue if it's actually worth it or if there's a single job in it though, what's your advice?
If it isn't too personal, which uni?
Honestly do what you love and you’ll find a way to work it. Even if you don’t manage to get a job in a related field, you’ll get a better paying job quicker by virtue of having a degree. Which may give experience to get one you prefer more or you’ll find an area that will surprise you by how much you enjoy it.
I went Swinburne.
