The Secret Of Henshaw Grove (M Multiple Goblins/MM)

The Secret of Henshaw Grove

Henshaw Grove is a small woodland area somewhere in the British countryside. It is a sacred forest where few humans ever dared to set foot in. Several people have entered the forest before and few have come out.

It is a place where many young men have been reported missing. Women and children do not seem to be affected, neither are middle aged or the elderly.

No one knows why or how these people end up going missing. The only connection is all the missing people are young males aged between 20-35.

Jeremy Blake, 22, lived close to the forest and wanted to explore it. He didn’t really believe in the stories thinking of it as some conspiracy theory similar to that of the Bermuda Triangle. His best friend, Brian Cartwright, 20, wanted to go also.

The two friends decided to go to the forest one day and took a bus what would take them about ten minutes walk away from it.

They reached the forest entrance and looked inside and looked around before deciding to enter.

“Here we are, Henshaw Grove. Just looks like any other forest. Should be nice to just have a little walk through,” Jeremy said.

“Yeah, can’t imagine how people would just end up missing here. Surely you can’t just disappear like that,” Brian replied.

“Right, anyway let’s go,” Jeremy said as the two walked in. They walked down the footpath and passed a bunch of trees on either side.

Coming towards a branching path, they pondered whether to go right or left before eventually deciding to take the left path.

Not long after they took the path, beings started to follow them slowly and quietly.

“Hey Jeremy, shouldn’t we be heading back now, it will be getting dark soon,” Brian said.

“Good idea, we should turn back otherwise it’ll be too dark to see anything,” Jeremy replied as they turned around and started to head back down the path which they came.

“Go now, surround them,” a voice shouted alerting the two friends as the beings who had followed them formed a circle around them. A whole gang of them had them surrounded on all sides.

“What the hell,” Jeremy cried and was startled by the sudden appearance of these creatures. They were all about three feet tall with dark green scaly skin, pointy ears, pointy teeth and red eyes. They wore some kind of leather armour and some of them were carrying daggers and clubs with them, which they pointed towards Jeremy and Brian.

“What are those things?” Jeremy asked.

“Goblins,” Brian replied.

“That’s correct, human. We are goblins and this is our turf,” one of them said, who was also the one who gave the order to surround them. This one appeared to be the leader.

“Look, we didn’t me…,” Jeremy started to say but was quickly shut up by the leader shouting, “SILENCE!”

After a brief pause, the goblin leader gave the order and the goblins then all pounced on Jeremy and Brian bringing them both to the floor. There was enough goblins to keep both Jeremy and Brian pinned down while others worked on tying them up. And they did so with such efficiency. Within about ten minutes, both Jeremy and Brian had been fully tied up and gagged. Ropes had been tied around their ankles, thighs, hands and arms with a tight cloth around their mouths.

“Good work once again, boys. Lets take these prisoners to their new home,” the goblin leader said while smirking at Jeremy and Brian who just stared at him with wide eyes. Now they realised what was meant by people going missing and they would now meet them as well as what was to come.
