Well this is a really cool beginning to a story. I love it, and you left a cliff hanger to boot! The descriptions and detail are wonderful.
One suggestion, add a gender tag.
Beyond that, just don't take too long to add the next part because I'm on the edge of my seat.
Great job!

I guess I got a little confused as to how part 2 connected to part 1. Perhaps that will be sorted out.
