BABYSITTING THE TWINS

Doug and Scott, at 13, were both three years older than Tommy and Bobby, The ten year old twins had talked their mother into asking Doug to "baby sit" them, and the twins and their parents knew that Doug and Scott were very close friends. If Doug baby sat, there was little doubt that Scott would come along with him.

It all started off innocently enough. Doug and Scott arrived; the twins' parents told the twins to behave themselves and obey Doug and Scott, then left. The twins looked at each other, and grinned. They'd been plotting this all afternoon, and immediately put their scheme in action.

"Let's go up to our room!" Bobby said. "We got a new game we wanna show you guys. Yer gonna like it!"

Scott and Doug shrugged their shoulders, and followed the twins up to their bedroom, where Tommy pulled a bag of rope, bandanas, bandages, and scout neckerchiefs from their closet. "Put yer hands behind yer backs." Bobby ordered. Doug and Scott went along, and allowed the twins to tie them.

After tying Doug's and Scott's hands, Tommy said "Arright, sit on the bed, and let us get yer feet tied!"

Again, Doug and Scott went along, so far, unaware.

"What's this game you were talking about?" Doug asked.

"Ya know you can't talk when yer tied!" snapped Bobby. "That'll cost ya two more ties!"

"Each on each!" Tommy said. "Plus, ya gotta come on our back yard campout next weekend. Terry, Steve, Greg, Mark, and Kevin'll be there, too! Now, open yer mouths, so we can gag ya!"

Doug and Scott complied, and both were tightly gagged. Despite the fact that they could easily push their gags away with their tongues, they didn't. Doing so, would have given the twins two more free penalties. Like before, each on each.

The twins stood before their two captives, and grinned. "Ya wanted to know what the game was, right?" Tommy asked. Scott and Doug nodded.

"We think it's a real fun game." Bobby said. "We call it 'Let's trick Doug and Scott inta lettin' us tie 'em up,' and it worked."

Doug and Scott exchanged glances. Neither boy was particularly angry at being tricked, as both of them were fairly good at escaping, and neither of the twins could tie worth diddly squat. But they (almost) silently agreed that the twins would pay. Doug went "mmmppfff, mmmppfff!" into his gag. Scott quietly smiled beneath his, and nodded.
