What kind of tape?

Electrical tape or duct tape?? I'm becoming a fan of electrical tape for taping my limbs together (profile pic) but still love to be gagged with duct tape . What's everyone use?

Duct Tape and maybe Packing tape

Both have their uses.

My favourites (in no particular order) are duct tape, gorilla tape, athletic/hockey tape, electrical tape and gaffer tape.

Duct tape comes in different grade (from craftwork-grade to industrial heavy duty-grade).

Gorilla tape is much thicker and stronger than duct tape, making it even better for bondage purposes but too thick to create an air-tight gag. A combination of both works best.

Athletic/hockey tape is breathable and extremely strong.
Gaffer tape and carpet tape have all the advantages and disadvantages of expensive/heavy duty duct tape.

Electrical tape is good for gagging, but IMO, needs to be used with caution.
Unlike other tapes, this one stretches and shrinks, making it pretty dangerous if wrapped too tightly around limbs.


Here's a photo of a young dude I gagged with my old gym sock and a few layers of electrical tape.
Had fun watching him fight the stretchy tape. Every time he pushed the sock, the tape would stretch out a bit. As soon as he relaxed his tongue and stopped pushing, the tape would shrink back and force my fat gym sock deeper into his yapper.

No matter how much he fought the gag, he'd always end up back to point zero.



Of course, a generous amount of duct tape was wrapped around his mouth afterwards.

I can't believe Microfoam has not been mentioned yet! I'd also like to add that Fixomull is a very, very sexy and effective option (a bit expensive but as with anything that shows off the lips... well worth it)

Not surprising considering so few users bother to participate in forum threads and discussions.
But yes, surgical tape is also a favourite of mine. However, since I find myself shopping in sport/fitness outlets more often than going at the pharmacy, I often opt for athletic tape over microfoam/surgical tape.

I made the mistake of using hockey grip tape once... the sticky black residue is absolutely impossible to get off without effort. Definitely sticking to regular athletic tape or ace wrap when it comes to that!

Other than duct tape, my favorite tape is 3m vinyl tape. It’s very similar to electrical tape but wider. My other go to would be clear packing tape.

Agreed. Gorilla tape comes in different colours too and so does gaffer tape.
My favourites are black and military green. Classic silver I also really like.

Cosmetic wise duct tape by far, actually being done though electrical is probably a better idea
