Very intense chapter (btw.: right know feelings over Russia are quite splitting opinions in the world, but it does have a unique culture with long, long tradition - we are in part reminded of it here, and I like it, inter alia).

One of the best parts in this chapter: The conversation between Carmen and Stella at the beginning - how they talk about "cleaning the air" - I can imagine why Stella did not sit down :) Then the centre part of the chapter: The scene between Helen and Mike. Quite intense and in a way beau...

This is making are very nice, relaxed read. Surely Miss Vickers won't spoil the fun?

well, yeah I like those very much - if I call them 'good ol' days-stuff, I mean it absolutely as a compliment.

well, first of all Helen is indeed a tough cookie! I likethe connections between the other stories and am confident one could follow this one easily without knowing the others, it's well done.
