Hmm she myst of known the person that had done this to her. She talks about him in a very familiar way. I think she’s a cop and he is one of her informants that got tired of her attitude whenever she came around.

My guess is that it had to be a family member since they are bound in places that only a family member would be able to enter without suspicion. Maybe the mother’s other daughter wanting to go to a party without her older sister or mother from stopping her.

A girl throws a party at her house. Everyone from her college/job comes. Even that one girl that absolutely hates her. The hostess get tied up and messed with at her own party.
