So many actors have played Dracula. I have been trying to imagine which one would be best to play this version. Perhaps that will clarify as you continue the story. Great job!

Your first two chapters do start with a bang. The slave is receiving harsh punishment. Will we learn who the slave is and what she has done that caused Evelyn's reaction? Will there be a role reversal later in the story? Is it possible that this story could have a happy ending? So many questions? I ...

I must say that this is poignant. Danny has been hiding these things for years. Now it is all out in the open. Thank all goodness that he has Kate.

Will she get justice? You are doing so well with this. As always, I'm looking forward to the next installment.
