It's moments like this that give us an inside to what characters really are! Though Nick can seem intimidating and rough we can see that, deep down, under those huge muscles rests a very big heart. A heart that, for Steven especially beats of something more than just fatherly affection.
I also like that Nick doesn't whant to show that a lot, and whenever a moment like this happens he quickly changes the situation with something unrelated. Like in this chapter, he changes the sultry sweet mood by pulling out his handcuffs. Very smart, Nick
But this chapter also made my wait impatiently for two things:
First, Nick's firt visit to his parents which means leaving Steven in the care of Zack. I can't imagine what Master Zack will do with two twinks under his controll, but we shall see...
And also, Nick's second visit to his parents with Steven. Which most likely means that we will finally meet Nick's dad, the Military Police Sargeant!
I can't wait to see the person from which Nick inherited his big feet and foot odor. We shall see if Steven will serve both the father and the son!

We're only a few days into this latest poll, but already a sharp contrast appears to be taking shape between the ratings you guys gave Shawn and the ones currently being assigned to Nick. As you all know, both of them are very "grey" and fall smack in the middle of the alignment chart (Shawn being Chaotic Neutral and Nick being Lawful Neutral).
At a glance, it appears that both of them suffer from similar amounts of opposition. But when looking at the more favourable ratings, it's hard to miss the fact that Shawn's numbers are mostly concentrated in the 6-7 area whilst Nick's are very much in the 8-10 zone. This seems to point towards less of a consensus among the readers. Your opinions regarding Nick appear to be more spread out and varied.
As far as preliminary results go, Shawn's global average came out at 6.1.
Nick's average is currently polling above 7.5.
Being arrested by a law enforcement officer would've been disconcerting, not to mention a tad bit upsetting.
Being physically arrested by my own boyfriend, however, was not just disconcerting. It was downright humiliating!
I tried to reason with the man. Tried to argue that I didn't need to be restrained and didn't need to be escorted back to camp like this. But much to my own annoyance, I knew there was no point in debating with Nick once he'd made up his mind. I also knew from experience that he wouldn't hesitate to use brute force against me were I to resist his attempt to arrest me. Those freakishly massive arms and muscles of his were not just for show, mind you. They were primarily used to protect me, but could also be used for disciplinary purposes.
I'd learned that at my own expense a few weeks back.
Attempting to point out the unfairness of my curfew was one thing, but actively attempting to resist it was another.
Nick hadn't used all of his strength against me that night. But he'd used enough of it to make me understand how easily he could break my body if he so desired. Resisting his current efforts to subdue and secure me would undoubtedly yield results similar to those I'd experienced that night.
Don't get me wrong though, Nick was usually very gentle with me. It's just that if the need to use force arose, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he wouldn't hesitate to wrestle me down, crush me to the ground and cuff me by force if I tried resisting. I didn't even wanna think about the disciplinary consequences he'd impose upon me afterwards.
All that to say that as humiliating as it was, I had no other option than to let myself be handcuffed by the beastly man whose bed I shared.
"This is for your own safety, babe." the brute told me, taking hold of my delicate wrists with those leathery bear paws of his and snapping those heavy-duty police cuffs on them to prevent any sort of last-minute change of heart.
Part of me didn't know whether I should be insulted or flattered at the fact that he didn't trust me enough to march me back to camp without restraining my hands behind my back.
Nick obviously knew that I loved him, and he knew that I had no plans of running away or breaking up with him. But his desire to train me as his permanent life-long partner and turn me into his personal wife was just so strong and so powerful that nothing was deemed worthy of leaving to chance. In other words, even if the cards were all stacked in his favour and his victory was assured, he wasn't ready to take the risk that I'd somehow spontaneously decide to make a run for it. I was, in a sense, far too desirable to take any chances on...something which was made even worse now that I'd played up to his hero instinct and told him just how badly I needed him.
The walk back up to camp was relatively quiet and uneventful.
Aside from the crunching of dried leaves and the rhythmic swooshing of my fatherly guardian's ridiculously bloated jacket, the chanting of crickets had dwindled down and the air around us was almost dead quiet.
I nearly lost my footing at one point, but Nick was there to prevent my fall and simply tightened his already overbearing grip around my left arm before resuming his imperialistic march toward the campsite.
When the dome-shaped abode finally came into view, my lover stopped in his tracks and spun me around so that I was forced to look at him. With the top of my head barely reaching up to his chin and with his insanely beefy puffer-clad frame being twice as broad as my own, I felt very small whilst looking up at my man.
The goliath muscle-god's tight leather gloves creaked rather noisily as he stood there and gave me a rebuking speech about the importance of obedience and good behaviour. He was, to put it mildly, none too happy about my decision to leave the safety of the tent and roam around alone and without protection.
I tried lowering my gaze down several times, but the man kept pulling my chin back up and pointing an accusing finger down towards my face. When the sermon he gave me ended with him telling me that I was going to be grounded for the next three months, I found myself unable to remain silent.
"Three months!?" I cried out, quite literally exasperated at the fact that he expected me to spend the next ninety nights zipped up inside some stupid sleepsack before once again being allowed to sleep free of restraints.
I ended up trying to make a fuss about it, but the authoritative muscleman quickly put an end to that by lifting his hand up as though he was going to give my face a smack and then ordering me to close my mouth.
"Quiet! I don't wanna hear another word from you, babe. Zip it." he ordered, pointing a rebuking finger straight down towards my face and warning me of additional consequences if I continued giving him lip.
"Now you're going in the tent, I'm gonna take the cuffs off and then you're going to get undressed." he instructed, allowing his words to sink in before once again marching me towards the dome-shaped abode where Zack and Jeremy were waiting.
As soon as we made it inside the tent, an impenetrable wall of eye-wateringly pungent stench assaulted my senses and greeted my nostrils. The smell was unmistakable, of course. It was Zack's! More specifically, it was coming from his positively REEKING running shoes and those inexplicably foul-smelling socks of his!
My first instinct was to turn my head away and take a step back. But the towering blue-eyed giant was already standing behind me and blocking off the only exit. There'd be no escaping, I knew. No way to escape my brutish lover and no way to escape Zack's putrid footwear.
The tent door was zipped shut, a pair of gloved fingers started fidgeting around with the cuffs keeping my wrists restrained, and then about ten seconds later I was once again free and unfettered.
"Alright, take your clothes off." the blond beast spoke, adopting a somewhat fatherly tone as he stood guard behind me and watched me do as instructed.
I made a move for the low-resting memory foam bed as soon as my hoodie, pants and socks were off. But Nick was rather quick to wrap his hand around my upper left arm and halt my progress. "Clothes off, babe. Now." he repeated, causing me to let out a somewhat lamentful moan and strip out of my tight-fitting boxer briefs.
I didn't particularly enjoy being naked in front of my man. I knew he was attracted to my fragile swimmer's build and that he relished the fact that I was so light and thin. But being mesmerised by his freakishly buff frame and large muscles meant that I didn't completely understand how someone so big and so hot could find a scrawny twerp like me even remotely pleasing to look at. I wasn't only shamed by how wiry my body was though. A sizeable portion of the embarrassment I now felt came from the fact that my nether region was engorged and throbbing.
I wasn't entirely certain, but it most likely had something to do with the way I'd been arrested and the fact that my overly beefy lover was currently wearing his intimidating police gloves and that monstrously puffy North Face jacket of his. Come to think of it, it probably didn't help that Zack's supremely odorous footwear was stinking up the place something fierce! All that to say that I was in a state of great arousal and excitement at that point.
Nick spent the next minutes getting me all zipped up inside his annoyingly tight, body-hugging safety sack.
With my arms now tucked into the darlex prison's internal sleeves, I was utterly powerless to defend myself as my husbandly owner's gloved digits began pulling the zipper up all the way along my back.
The sack tightened around my arms, elbows and shoulders before finally constricting around my body and turning me into a limbless worm. It's only once I was fully zipped and completely swallowed from the neck down that I realised something was amiss.
There would've normally been some sort of pressure on my manhood or some sort of resistance pressing up against the underside of my member. This time, however, there was no resistance. In fact, the pressure I felt pressing up against my nether region seemed entirely concentrated around the edges of my crotch.
That's when I came to realise that the darlex sleepsack's front opening wasn't zipped shut!
Everything from my toes, right to the bottom of my neck was securely sealed inside the stretchy skin-tight prison. Everything save for my cock and balls, that is.
An expression of amusement temporarily lit up Nick's features after he took hold of my hopelessly restrained form and flipped me over so that I was lying on my back.
"Well, someone's certainly happy to be back in his sack." he noted, wrapping his giant fingers around my painfully erect shaft and giving my throbbing woody a series of successive tugs.
Caught somewhere between pleasure, excitement and surprise, a veritable lungful of air rushed in through my mouth as I gasped. I wanted him to stop. No! I wanted him to continue!
Nick's leather-clad fingers stopped their torturous ministration less than five seconds later, and that seemingly amused expression on his face was rapidly replaced with his usual, fatherly scowl.
I was, much to my own chagrin, once again the recipient of another one of his sermons. This one being given to me in a much quieter tone than the first...the point of that being not to wake Zack and Jeremy up from their peaceful-looking slumber.
As for what my ruggedly handsome muscleman was saying, it had something to do with him not approving of my sudden outburst or my attempt to argue after hearing the news of my three-month-long grounding period a few minutes ago.
I tried apologising to him and tried telling him that his punishment was too severe, but the burly muscle-brute simply placed his gloved index finger atop my lips and once again ordered me to shut my trap.
Reasoning with Nick and trying to sway his decisions was not impossible, mind you.
I simply had to choose my moments and avoid arguing with his verdicts as soon as he announced them.
What I should've done when he rebuked me on our way up to the campsite was to simply keep my head down, apologise for leaving the safety of the tent and promise to abide by whatever disciplinary measures he saw fit to impose on me.
Had I done so, I could've easily brought the matter up to him a few weeks down the line and possibly even succeeded in convincing him to reduce the sentence. Nick was definitely strict, but not unreasonably so.
I still had a chance of swaying his mind and getting a few weeks shaved off my three-month sentence, but making the mistake of putting up an argumentative front only resulted in the tightening of that already small window. In other words, I'd basically shot myself in the foot by being mouthy.
The best and only reasonable course of action left for me to take was to comply with his wishes, show him that I was sorry and spend the next couple of weeks sucking up to him and doubling down on his sense of kindness and empathy.
So entranced I was by the proximity of his gloved hand, the somewhat stern and paternalistic quality of his features and the sheer size of his puffer-clad torso that I barely registered the second half of his verbal reprimand.
"Are you listenin', boi?" he asked, the unexpected question and disapproving scowl on his face suddenly drawing me out of my daze.
"Yes, Sir." I whispered back, doing my best to sound convincing before once again casting my eyes down.
The mighty warrior-king spent the next few seconds scanning my face and giving me a hard look. It's almost as if he wanted to drive his point across and make sure that any and all signs of my rebellious inner fires were irreparably extinguished. There were none, of course. I was - in every sense of the word - his to do with as he pleased.
Fiery blue orbs continued scouring my face for several moments until finally, the beastly brute was satisfied.
I was, by that point, fully expecting to be gagged and muzzled for the night. So when Nick warned me of the fact that my ability to speak was about to be taken away from me, I didn't even flinch or bat an eyelid.
"Yes, Master." was all I dared answer him back with.
Imagine my surprise, when instead of reaching for the muzzle or the sponge ball or the inflatable plug gag, my excessively beefy, 248-pound boyfriend sat his huge rump down on the edge of the bed and started unlacing one of his jaw-droppingly large, military police boots.

Okay, my approval assessment for Nick. I'm trying to be as honest and objective as I can.
But first, I want to say something that, looking at the current results, might be considered a controversial opinion. The amount of realism [mention]bondagefreak[/mention] puts into this story, and the effort he puts into making these characters seem as lifelike and real as possible makes absolute scores impossible to give. I cannot give Nick a 1 or a 10, he is not completely rotten to his core, and neither is he a saint that can do no wrong. This story deserves more than that.
I think Nick is a very caring, loyal, confident, disciplined guy, that can put other people before himself in a heartbeat. I think he is also a bit self-centered, selfish, overbearing, rash, and arrogant. He can make snap decisions without having all the facts or perspectives and is unwilling or unable to explain them and accept criticism of them. Nick's communication skills are the biggest issue I have with him, he often sees intuitively what's wrong or what Steven needs, but he doesn't explain it. And seeing that Nick's decisions have a direct impact on Steven's freedom, that is a problem.
I do want to address the elephant in the room: Nick's kidnapping of Steven. I'm absolutely agreeing that he should have communicated better and that this is quite a reprehensible thing to do. However, I do think there are some mitigating factors, and that it's not completely fair to see this kidnapping trip as the start of their current relationship.
The big thing is that Nick and Steven always had a hierarchical relationship, even before the first trip. It wasn't explicit, and it didn't evolve bondage and these physical and mental restrictions, but I do think that Steven always looked up to Nick and that they gravitated towards each other in a quite natural way because they matched in that sense. It's still doesn't excuse Nick's actions, but I do think that he felt that this might be something that even Steven could eventually enjoy. It's just speculation on my part, but seeing Nick's actions in later chapters, I have seen that he is capable of that.
And I don't think it is fair to apply that trip to their current relationship. After the trip was over, Steven went back to his normal life and failed miserably at it. Nick was there to help him out, and then the ball started rolling. There are some problems still at that point, mostly about dependence and Steven's ability to leave, but I do think that if that scenario should be needed, Nick would have spotted that.
The last thing I want to say is that my opinion of Nick would have been very, very different if Zack wasn't in the picture to shift him to do better. Nick is very easily influenced by the people around him, see Brad, see Shawn, and that makes him unpredictable at times. That is a quite serious thing and nocks some points off his score.
So, what is the end result? Well, I generally approve of Nick. I don't always approve of how he does things, or that he doesn't explain why, but at the core, I do think he actively tries to do what he thinks is best for Steven. So, in the end, I think I give him a 7 - moderate approval.
Wow you've really been cranking out the chapters! I missed 2 of them!!
It's amazing how one moment Nick is having a tender heart to heart with Steven and the next, he is grounding the boi for 3 months, handcuffing him, and on the verge of stuffing one of his notoriously nasty socks in his yapper. If that isn't love, what is? They certainly have depth to their relationship!
I promise I'll release my thoughts on the poll soon (although I think they will be quite close to those of [mention]LockedCheeseBird[/mention]). I keep getting distracted because SOMEBODY keeps releasing new chapters!
They are pretty heart warming chapters though. As ever Nick is a man of few words but the fact that he is planning to introduce Steven to his parents speaks volumes about his committment to their relationship. Such a romantic image of the pair of them cuddling up together beside a lake filled with an ocean of stars. Even more romantic when Nick produces a pair of handcuffs to arrest Steven. All the best Daddies keep a pair of handcuffs about them at all times! We know they're not necessary but at the same time they're really necessary!
Of course even better than handcuffs is the sleepsack. I'd be a naughty puppy every day if it meant I got to spend the night tucked up nice and warm like that! For me, Nick is about to peel the real punishment of his stinky, sweaty foot and shove it in Steven's mouth. Still, when a frustratingly stretchy fabric is pinning your arms to your sides and leaving you completely helpless there's not much you can do to resist.
A pup is for life but especially for bondage so get out the sleepsack and muzzle.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
As far as this latest opinion poll goes, Nick's numbers appear to be climbing steadily and are now in the 7.8 range.
That places him somewhere in the "moderate" to "strong" approval range. In other words, quite a bit higher up the scale than Shawn's meagre showing.
I'd also like to point out that there was a slight migration of votes following the apparition of [mention]LockedCheeseBird[/mention]'s impressive comment. It appears that some of the voters migrated their votes from 4, all the way up to 5 & 6.
As for my own vote: being the author and having a clear bias, I only think it wise for me to refrain from sharing my thoughts on this particular poll. Suffice to say, I am in agreement with all of the detailed opinions that have been voiced thus far, and have no trouble understanding the different motivations behind the various ratings you guys are awarding Nick with.
Lots of smart and well thought out arguments have been brought to the fore.

I'm afraid this became something epic! In summary I voted for 8 - strong approval.
I’ve found it quite difficult to write about my answer to the Nick appreciation poll as every time I start to think about Nick and how his relationship with Steven has developed I find myself falling down a rabbit hole that seems to go on forever!
The fact is that even though we have spent more time with Nick than any other character apart from Steven we still don’t really know what’s going on in his mind and I think that makes it quite hard to judge some of his actions.
We know that Nick is an impossibly big, dominant, alpha male (maybe a bit too big for my tastes looking at the arm muscles in the recent photo of him!) We also know he has quite an ‘old-fashioned’ view of relationships and that despite the bondage he is actually quite vanilla. He’s firm but fair – actions will have consequences. He speaks more with actions than with words. He appears to be a good and loyal friend. He’s very protective of people he cares about. He expects to be obeyed. He can be manipulated but is more perceptive than people give him credit for. He has a serious foot odour problem but seems to take care of himself. He has a massive libido and can get carried away when it charges up.
I know it’s not for everyone but I do love the basic idea of Nick and Steven’s relationship. Nick provides for and protects Steven and Steven looks after their home and takes care of Nick. Nick expects unwavering obedience from Steven but so long as Steven follows the house rules he has quite a large amount of free rein, particularly when Nick is out at work. I was a little bit worried about the way Nick was isolating Steven – he wouldn’t let him have a job – but I think things are improving on that front.
Nick obviously dominates and uses Steven physically. I know the lovemaking is a bit love/hate for Steven in terms of his ability to deal with Nick’s massive manhood but I think we have seen improvement there with Nick trying to take things slow and asking for advice from Zach. Whilst Nick can get carried away in the heat of the moment I think he has always stopped when Steven has shown genuine distress.
Then we come to the ‘start’ of the relationship. The kidnapping of Steven and some Nick’s behaviour during it are somewhat at odds with the Nick we know now. The thing I struggle with most is trying to work out the motivation behind it. We know Nick had a good, positive, long lasting friendship with Steven (almost a big brother/little brother relationship) and I find it hard to believe that Nick would throw that away for a brief period of gratification. Nick isn’t kidnapping a random person, he’s kidnapping his friend.
We know Nick and Steven have been camping together and we know Nick had bound and gagged Steven several times prior to the kidnapping – friends fooling around. Bondage as part of pranks or hazing was a fairly normal part of Nick’s life. So did Nick see kidnapping Steven as a way to combine and extended these two activities and expect Steven to see it in that light with deeper feelings only developing during the week. Or had those feelings already started to develop and Nick saw this as a way to take their friendship to a completely different level? I can’t condone the kidnapping but I certainly don’t think it was Nick’s intention to trigger a break down in Steven and if Brad hadn’t been involved I think things would probably have ended quite differently and probably in the way Nick hoped.
Nick clearly erred when he decided to involve Brad in his plan. (I wonder if he ever approached Zach about it?) Sadly Brad brought out the worst side of Nick, manipulating him into making further poor decisions. Nick slowly discovered Brad’s toxic nature but I think it’s too his credit that he did try to help Brad before ending their friendship. Now we have everybody’s favourite Knight in the picture. Surely the fact that this paragon of virtue supports Nick and Steven’s relationship is a good sign.
Nick’s kidnapping plan may have back-fired, leaving Steven in a bad place but he was immediately ready to help when Steven asked for it. He gave Steven a safe place to stay and the time and space to recover. Steven brought bondage back into the relationship with a dangerous attempt at self-bondage and then admitted that he liked being tied up, dominated, controlled, humiliated. Nick is giving Steven what he wants. I don’t think Stockholm Syndrome is involved. Steven realised some new things about himself, realised his friend Nick could give him those things and their relationship went to a new place.
From this new beginning we’ve seen their relationship grow into something. We know Steven loves Nick and we know Nick loves Steven even if he found it hard to express it with words. There’s been a lot of tender moments between them. Steven has adapted his behaviour to keep Nick happy but we also know that Nick is adapting his behaviour to please Steven – change is part of any relationship. So long as Steven follows the rules, Nick is pretty lenient really.
Nick isn’t perfect but I think his heart is in the right place and what you see is what you get. He’s found himself in a relationship that he never expected. Of course he’s made some mistakes but he’s learning from them and slowly turning into the perfect Daddy for Steven.
I’m going to stop rambling now. I’m always going to carry a torch for Nick but I’m not blinded to his flaws and that’s why I gave him a score of 8 – strong approval. He can be my Daddy any day!

Though if I may, I believe if it was me it would have been far worse. My feisty character would get me into so much trouble, Nico likely would manhandle me into submission and subject me to a little more dire fate. just a guess from my side

I would, however, advise you to remain prudent in your expectations of what's to come.
Without denying or confirming any of the upcoming developments, there are several reasons why Nick could potentially refrain from seeking Zack's babysitting skills.
1. He may be only be gone for part of a day.
2. Keeping in mind that Zack is also in a brand new relationship, he may not wish to impede on his friend's personal love life.
3. Shawn may be available and has (as far as Nick knows) proven himself both capable and trustworthy.
If it came down to Steven being offered a choice between the two babysitters (which would be unlikely), he may have difficulty choosing where he wants to spend the weekend. Keep in mind that Shawn = Joshua, Big Mike, Chris, Kyle, Joey & Phil.

To say that I was a little horny and excited by that point would've been something along the lines of a major understatement. I was, in fact, throbbing with a mixture of fear, anticipation and exuberance.
There I was, lying on my back, trapped in this undefeatable, body-hugging sleepsack. The hard slab of meat between my legs pulsing with envy as it protruded out of the darlex prison and stood high into the open. The stench of Zack's reeking running shoes and the pungent cheesiness of his godforsaken socks was stinging my eyes and driving me to the brink of madness.
I wanted to break free of the sack and make a run for it. Even more so after being warned of my alternative airway's imminent plugging. Pretty soon my lungs would have no choice but to rely on my nostrils as their sole source of oxygen; something which I quite understandably was not looking forward to.
I watched as my excessively burly, puffer-clad lover unlaced his left boot. Watched and listened as the erotic creaking of his leather police gloves and the noisy swooshing of his jacket marked each and every one of his movements.
I struggled against the stupid sack's unrelenting grip. Struggled to escape its tyranny and fought to reach for the painfully erect member now throbbing against my lower abdomen.
The darlex prison's internal sleeves, however, prevented my arms from leaving my sides and didn't allow for the touching of my own member. It clung to my wiry form like a second skin and rendered any sort of escape attempt completely futile. Its authoritarian hold over me was nothing short of infuriating! I hated it. I hated it so much!
Nick actually did pause the unlacing of his boot at one point and even turned his head around to look at me.
"You tryin' to run away from me, boi?" he asked, cocking an eyebrow up whilst seeming completely unimpressed with my momentary bout of struggling.
I was about to respond with a rather virulent complaint pertaining to Zack's footwear, but then wisely bit my tongue back and reminded myself of what a terrible mistake that would've been.
Nick knew full well I couldn't stand his righteous buddy's indescribably cheesy sock and shoe odour. He could see it in my face, he could see it in the crinkling of my nose and the way I'd tried backing out of the tent upon initially being pushed inside it a few minutes ago.
Doubling down on that and being mouthy about it might've actually enticed the burly brute to forgo silencing me with his own sock and use one of Zack's discarded stinkers instead! Or worst yet, Zack's giant boxer-briefs!
It didn't take a rocket scientist to see how plugging me up with something of Zack's might've actually been very fitting. Especially seeing as how my friend Jeremy was still stuck in his sack and sucking on my own boyfriend's jock-pouch.
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't looking forward to having my gob stuffed and silenced with Nick's sock. It's just that considering the available choices and considering the fact that he'd only been wearing his socks for about a day and a half by that point, it definitely seemed as though I'd be dealing with the lesser of two evils.
"Aw fuck, that feels good." the blue-eyed brute quietly breathed out, pulling his left boot off and allowing his socked toes to enjoy their newfound freedom.
I thought he was just gonna peel his sock off and be done with it, but the beefy warrior-king once again surprised me by twisting his seated body around and picking the back of my head up with one hand.
"Here, babe. Take a whiff." he casually instructed, providing me with no semblance of an explanation as he lifted my head up off the pillow and brought his boot down atop my face.
Muscles tensed up and eyes beamed wide open. Then everything when dark as the monstrous police boot's gaping maw swooped down and swallowed my face whole. Soft leather pressed around my cheeks before cupping the bottom of my chin and creating an airtight seal around the contours of my face. I tried backing out of it, tried breaking free of the hellishly putrid chasm. But the man's whose boot I was currently trapped in refused to let me go.
The instant I flared my nostrils open, the stench that festered within Nick's boot hit me like a brick wall.
"Ugghmmphh." I cried out, struggling to get away from the reeking fumes and finding myself unable to keep my voice down.
The stench wasn't quite as foul as the odour currently spilling out of Zack's shoes, but it was definitely strong and pungent enough to fry some of your brain cells and make your stomach churn.
The mixture of my man's terribly powerful foot odour, combined with that of his dad's and the overpowering scent of leather made for a rather deadly cocktail.
Nick's freakishly large police boots had only seen two days of use in the past year or so. And yet they already smelled strong enough to fuel nightmares about being shrunk to the size of a bug and banished inside one of them for a week or two.
Admittedly, I could think of a few worse places to windup in were such a bizarre and seemingly implausible fate to befall me at some point. Zack's running shoes and hockey gloves probably being near the top of that list.
When Nick finally pulled his dad's giant police boot away from my face, my skin must've looked a little greenish and my expression must've been a tad priceless. I didn't even want to imagine just how fierce the smell of them would get were he to start wearing them on a somewhat regular basis.
True, they were super hot to look at. But aesthetics aside, I knew I'd soon regret the day I'd pulled those giant bad boys of the closet. The heavily padded leather interior and strong insulating properties did not agree with Nick's feet AT ALL!
Still, the warrior-king seemed positively pleased with himself. Even as he put his reeking boot down, I could see his facial muscles struggling to conceal the cocky smirk slowly spreading across his lips.
My unreachable cock was harder than ever now. Even more so when the blue-eyed brute placed his newly-unbooted foot atop his opposing knee and peeled his sock off with those enormous gloved fingers of his.
My eyes went wide for a second time that night. This time, because of the downright ungodly amount of crap and black lint balls that came tumbling out of my man's sock as a result of the peeling process. I watched in unbridled terror as the stubby thing was turned inside out, exposing the colossal man's huge foot and giving me a momentary glimpse of the unsettling quantity of cheesy sock lint now festering between his supremely fat toes.
As soon as the 248-pound puffer-king made a move to reach for my face, a panicked whimper escaped from my quivering lips as I turned my head away in a final escape attempt.
Leathery fingers slipped beneath the back of my skull, my head was slowly lifted up off the pillow, and I was once again facing off against my man and eyeing his frowning face and positively MASSIVE puffer-clad frame.
Nick was an intimidating man, to say the least. He was my lover, and yet I feared him and looked up to him like none other.
He was the King of kings, I knew. The Boss of bosses.
I became the recipient of yet another one of his fatherly reprimands at that point. It had something to do with the merits of me keeping my trap shut whenever he made up his mind about something. I was perfectly quiet the entire time he spoke, of course. But my attention was mostly monopolised by the accusatory gloved finger he kept pointing down at my face and the terribly pungent sock that was balled up securely behind it.
I could smell it.
I could smell his leather glove, but more importantly, I could smell his sock.
Considering the severity of my brutish boyfriend's foot-related condition, and considering the fact that he even had prescription creams to try and alleviate the problem, I just couldn't make sense of the fact that he expected me to open up and suck on that raunchy, bacteria-ridden sock of his. Yet there he was, rebuking my sleepsacked self and holding his big fat, wadded fabric just a few inches in front of my face.
Every fibre of my being wanted to scream. Every part of me wanted to tell him that it was wrong and that his footwear was diseased and ungodly. But even as the insanely beefy man sat there and scolded me, I could do nothing but be in awe of him and admire his sheer ruggedness and masculine beauty.
When the order to open my rebellious chatterbox finally came, I gave the balled up wadding a sniff and nearly went crosseyed from the stench of it. It's only when I bought my focus back up to Nick's stupendously handsome face and noticed the furrowing of his brow and the fierceness of his stare that I found myself melting beneath his gaze and surrendering to his will.
There would be no more speaking for me tonight, I knew.
No speaking, and no calling for help either.

Well I've just read the first 16 chapters in record time! I cannot put this story down. At first I was intimidated to start because of the sheer length, but man am I glad I did! I know most of you reading this have probably gotten far past where I am in this tale, so I apologize if my comments are annoying. But I just have to say...
Nick is perfection. Like he stepped out of a dream. I kinda wish Steven would stop his sniveling and realize what a prize he has. Some of us would kill to be in his shoes... and Nick's. I'd have taken the same opportunity Steven did on the ride to the cabin. And thanked him for it afterwards! It's even better when he seems to get so aroused at having a helpless slave at his disposal! Stevie-boy doesn't know how good he has it! Brad I definitely don't like. But we're not supposed to, are we? Heh heh. I'm sure he'll get his soon enough. There is a fine line between dominance and sadism that Nick is straddling nicely. Brad, however, hasn't grasped the nuance. Hopefully Nick's guiding hand will show him the right way, after he's been roped up and gagged himself!
There's too much gold in here to list everything that made my heart flutter, but Nick putting on a motorcycle jacket (even if it was just a throwaway description) and him dressing Steven in his clothes deserve special mention. And where did he get so good with ropes? I hope we get to find out!
I think Nick should remove all privileges from Stevan during these 3 months, like choosing what he can eat, hot showers etc.
Also, Nick could put him in a hard workout routine to teach Steven how to be more disciplined.
Nick can think about changing his job as well, since he seems to be a fan of the police, he can think about joing police academy to be a police officer...
Always love to see those hot police boots be put to good use. Steven's nose was right where it belonged! Inhaling the scent of the Hoffman men's feet! I wonder if he'll ever get up close and personal with his future father in law and get a first hand whiff of his scent?
I could watch Steven struggle against his stretchy, spandex sleepsack for hours! (Yes, I know it's technically darlex but that doesn't alliterate does it!) It would be even better to be stuck struggling alongside him. It's a great metaphore for Nick's brand of domination - a little bit of give before everything snaps back into place, completely inescapable.
I think Steven's having another 'be careful what you wish for' moment as the boots he begged Nick to wear come back to haunt him! He doesn't want it and yet he really does want it. Either way he doesn't exactly have a choice.

- Others find him perfectly balanced and very well-rounded.

To say this was just a good chapter would be an understatement on my part! A true MASTERPIECE of writing!
Poor Steven can't get away as he tries to run fom the inevitable! What a shame... We at least know that in just a fiew minutes time he wouldn't be able to complain or say anything about Nick's rank socks or Master Zack's lovely shoes and socks! Or just say anything in general!

And I'm on the West Coast, [mention]bondagefreak[/mention] , so late for you isn't tremendously late for me. :p Still, I cannot put this tale down! I've been sneaking chapters at work here and there. Just finished chapter 69.
Here are my comments and musings on the characters so far...
Nick is amazing. Everything about him tickles my imagination in ways you don't know. The things I would do for that man... and let him do to me...
Brad should be in prison. Full stop. He crossed a line with that lake drowning stunt. And a manky toothbrush and one hogtie don't make up for that. He should be in jail for attempted murder.
Poor Jeremy. He deserves so much better. So vulnerable. So eager to please. Who hasn't been there? He deserves a master who won't just mindfuck and destroy him. Maybe Nick has a gym buddy in the market for a Boi who isn't a total psycho? Perhaps Shawn?
Haven't seen much of Shawn. Just the one visit. So far he seems to be "Nick Lite," but I'm sure there's far more going on there.
Which brings me to Steven. All things considered, he's beginning to grate a little. I understand he's in a rough emotional state and things are in Flux, but he's being a little whiny. He says he wants to be tied up. Nick obliges. He complains and wants out. He says he wants to be dominated. Nick obliges. He complains. He says he loves Nick's man-stink to the point where he gags himself with Nick's soiled unmentionable. Nick obliges. He complains. I hope he stops being so wishy-washy and decides what it is he REALLY wants.
And I only say this as an ode to bondagefreak's writing ability. The fact that he can elicit such feelings are a testament to his characterization and plotcraft. I cannot wait to see what is in store!
