Footwear. You could stuff the toe of the shoe in their mouth. Or if it’s a wedge’d heel, stick that in.

Personally I always love the classic cloth over the mouth nose and throat bit from cartoon damsels.

My favorite is a mouthful of panties, pantyhose or tights.

Vet wrap is great for wraparound gags. Relatively comfortable and quick to remove. Although I'll admit that I do prefer electrician's duct tape aesthetically.

I guess the standards, which for me and my friends, were bandanas and occasionally, duct tape, because that's how we saw people gagged on TV and in the movies; scout neckerchiefs, because we were all scouts, and they were available; and strips torn from a sheet, usually 7-8 feet long, and wrapped over the mouth four times. They were intended to be used as bandages in first aid kits and could also be used to tie up a captive.

I recall seeing a video where a ball gag was used. However, the ball itself was made from candy, along the lines of the powdered stuff like used in love heart sweets rather than a big hard boiled sweet. As it got wet it was slowly dissolving causing a very satisfying mess.

I agree, that PVC tape gleam that gray electricians tape makes is great, and it does not pull hair or bruise like duct tape.

It makes such a nice sound too, and it comes away from the roll so smoothly which is good for flow.

I've been getting really into using rope as a cleave gag recently. I just love cleave gags in general, but I tried a rope cleave for the first time this year and it was a great time. Highly recommend it
