Another of our youthful heroes has passed.
Lee Aaker, most notably known as Corporal Rusty, on "The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin," (1954-1959), has died at the age of 77, on April 1, 2021. He also starred with John Wayne, in "Hondo," and in "O Henry's Full House" as Red Chief.
"Rin Tin Tin" was a Saturday morning staple in the early to mid 60's, and enjoyed a brief revival through colorization in the 70's.

Stop to think about it, just about every kid we watched on TV or in the movies in our own youth, is now old enough to be eligible to collect a Social Security pension. (Take it early at 62) Even Darby Hinton, who played Israel Boone in the mid to late 60's, is 62-63.
