I never thought about this song from a bondage perspective, but I can see how some of the lyrics could apply. After all, the guy was a prisoner in his own body.

As a sidenote, One is a masterpiece.

The entirety of Rihanna's S&M. This may be further backed up by the music video.

Marilyn Manson-blood honey

I got you tied up and I love it
Tied up and I love it
Now, why would I set you free?
Now you're tied up, you love it
No lies now, I love it
I'm not being mean, I'm just being me

Odd one, but Just a Girl by No Doubt.

“Oh, I'm just a girl, living in captivity”

Chains - The Beatles (originally by The Cookies I think).

I get that the chains are metaphorical in the song but my mind always thinks of literal chains.
I actually used to skip this on shuffle whenever someone else was in the car out of fear that I'd blush when it was playing

It’s funny, none of these albums have any real bondage references that I can think of. These are just the albums I tend to play when I’m engaged in TUGs. I start with Van Halen, because who doesn’t enjoy some fucking Van Halen? And then I seriously just stuck to the V’s because they were close by on the iPod and I didn’t want to waste time scrolling through music while my damsel waited, haha. So here are my go-to albums:

Van Halen - self titled
Velvet Revolver - Contraband
Volbeat - Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood
Visigoth - The Revenant King

And for the record, a bound woman playfully dancing to rock music is a fantastic thing to behold :)

Lacuna Coil
You Love Me 'Cause I Hate You

I'm back in my house
And you're still sitting down
The crimson couch
Has never felt so uncomfortable
And the room is so cold

The tape on your mouth
Is slowing your breath down
The rope is still tight
The tension becomes so tangible
So unbearable, so unbearable

You love me 'cause I hate you
(Everything but love)
You love me 'cause I hate you
(Everything but love)

BDSM related song, obviously Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs. Then the title of Skinlab's album "Bound, gagged, blindfolded".

Hmm, good question!
Personally, whenever it comes to RP's where it's a lot more cruel/non-con/pure horny, I don't hear anything. It's really weird, cause even though I love non-conish situations, and my mind usually always has a song in the background, I can't think up of anything.

But.
When it comes to con RP's, especially the romantic ones, I can just faintly hear this song as the ropes are slowly wrapped around my body, the pressure and heat slowly builds up in my helpless body.

Man, seeing all the stuff people hear when they think of bondage makes me feel like the odd one out. Hopeless romantic to the end lol.

I guess it depends on my mood. Sometimes the songs that come to my mind are the cliche ENIGMA MCMXC a.D. songs/tracks, or even Madonna's "Justify My Love" and "Human Nature." Other times, it's just instrumental movie soundtracks (mostly Sci Fi movies, but the calmer, almost meditative tracks, not the epic "battle" tracks).

I know, my musical tastes are probably cheesy. Incidentally, when I clicked on the link in Minerva's post above, before I got to hear the beautiful and lovely piano music, YouTube greeted me with an ad for "cheesy crunchy satisfaction" with "Cheeze-it". So yeah, I guess my own tastes are really cheesy for the almighty algorithm to dish that ad out!

At least I'm not the only one who hears cheesy instrumentals. It feels really weird to see SOOO MANY songs that have lyrics while doing bondage. I didn't expect it to be honest? In a way I feel like that'd distract me from hearing my own/the damsels moans.

I agree with you Minerva! When I'm bound and gagged, deep in "subspace", lyrics could potentially distract me and snap me out of "subspace".

Talking about subspace, here is a sample of the kind of music that goes through my mind when bound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om5DXxeTshA

I also forgot to mention that video game music is also common for me. Since I mostly do selfbondage for relaxation and meditation, this theme from a popular video game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_PNEjnflec.

As for andrewtied's original question of what song goes through me mind when I think of bondage (not actually being tied up, just thinking about it), I still must go with my initial respone, as cliche as it may be, of ENIGMA and Madonna's "Justify My Love" and "Human Nature."

It is a bit of a strange song. But people here who knows me better is that this is not that strange

I have it with Walk The Moon - Shut up and dance. At a moment he is singing 'We are born to be together. Born to be together.' But the first time I heard it I tought he said 'Bound to be together, Bound to be together.' So yeah.
