KP Presents The settings are working fine. Everyone over 100 posts has an orange username and everyone from 2-99 posts has a pink one.
Lol, i wasn't gonna say specifically how I defined "active" and "not active". Guess the cats out of the bag now....bondagefreak wrote: ↑5 years ago KP Presents The settings are working fine. Everyone over 100 posts has an orange username and everyone from 2-99 posts has a pink one.
But its interesting that there are only 33 people that actually have an orange username....

So basically it is based on a count of total posts not recent activity, time since last log in etc. Soooo someone who posted 100 times in May and hasn't logged on since 1 June is an active user. Someone who logs on daily and has posted weekly since June is not an active user. I just wanted to check I had the definition of "active user" correct.bondagefreak wrote: ↑5 years ago @KP Presents The settings are working fine. Gaggedgeekgirl Yup. It's pretty much the same on every other forum.
Centennial Club/Active Member/Regular Contributer etc are all common rank titles for members with over 100 posts.
Forums almost always have a different rank name for users from with 100/500/1000 posts, but I've also seen some that make the earlier steps much smaller and go with 10/25/50/100 post ranks.
Once the forum gets a bit older and many of the "active members" are not longer active, I'm sure the rank title will be changed for something else. I'm also the only one with over a thousand posts, so don't think it would be worth creating more membership titles until the forum gets a bit older and everyone's post count progresses.
Besides...I think you like kinda cute in pink

I also got scared when I entered the forum and saw so many pinks names , I also got a message saying that I had entered the active users list
Yes, it's me in the picture. What are you waiting for to tie me up and gag me?
