Most likely. Young me thought it was awesome that the handsome, buff guy was always getting rescued by a woman.

Of course, the big fantasy of mine would be having the hot female kidnappers tie up the male hero WITH Wonder Woman.

I do prefer the idea of Steve Trevor being the Mansel in Distress just because of how he looks and his role as high ranking soldier or agent.
But there has been a couple of scenes where they share some peril.

God! I had such a crush on Lyle Waggoner, when I was a kid. When he was captured by the evil Nazi woman to lure Wonder Woman and left B&G -- it confirmed my interest in TUGs!
