Looking for a story

I'm looking for a story from the old Canuck website. I don't remember the author or the date . I do remember the plot of the story. It was set in Australia . It deals with a student film in which the kids of an executive are kidnapped to get leverage on something. The narrator of the story is a teenaged boy who plays the son. Any ideas about the story?
