banshee Nainur Caesar73 I'm really happy to hear y'all found the last chapter intriguing. I always love reading theories, predictions, and the such regarding my stories and lore. Hopefully this next chapter will keep y'all on the edge of your seats, though I will admit, it is quite short as its a major turning point for the plot.

===================================================================================

A Cruel Mistress — Jacques

The sea can be a cruel mistress. She cares naught for who sails her, and I don’t blame her. As I said, she is usually calm and calculated. Humanity disturbs her more than anything else. But the storm last night proved she can be cruel, having forced Stryker and Elise to endure her storm. Though… I reckon she was crying if anything. Crying that Anne had captured more individuals that respected her; loved her even. Perhaps crying for what would happen.

Anne had done something to Sarah. Sarah is… changed… different…. corrupted…. She’s acting as though I failed h— Who am I jesting? I did fail her. I failed her father. I failed Stryker and Elise. I failed my people and crew. And I failed the sea.

As I entered Anne’s cabin to exchange Elise for Sarah, Sarah seemed deep in thought. She didn’t appear tortured nor hurt, just scared and lost. I quickly manipulated the ropes to free Sarah from the chair and bind Elise to it. Every time I touched Sarah to escort her below decks, she pulled away. She couldn’t be brought to look at me.

Nonetheless she still went down below decks with me.

She sat down at one of the tables and I moved to remove her gag that I had replaced when I switched her with Elise. She… initially tried to pull away when I did that as well.

“Ms. Turner…. I…. I’m gonna ungag you…. You need to eat….” I tell her.

She reluctantly lets me ungag her. She still has her hands tied behind her back with her wrists crossed. I grab some more food for her and as I sit down to begin feeding her, she asks:

“Is it true?”

“Is what true?” I ask confused.

“How did my father die?”

“He was murdered by Anne. Her Revenge took us with a newfound fury, we couldn’t rally, within moments she defeated the crew, knocked me out, made me her slave.”

“But you had apprehended her when you and my father captured Pirate Queen Mary, yeah?”

“Yes, Ms. Turner. But she escaped under the cover of night.”

“And you didn’t stop her,” she states.

I initially thought that she said that more as a question than a statement, so I replied repetitively, “No, she escaped under the cover of night.”

“Jacques! I know you watched her as she rowed away… I know you could’ve alerted the crew… I know then that my father would still live…”

Shite. Well played, Anne. I’ll send you to Davy Jones’s Locker if it’s the last thing I do.

I lied, you know. When I said my lack of responsiveness was solely because of this war. The truth is Anne murdered my crew, my family. I hate her more than most things in the world. In truth, the only thing I hate more than her is me. I no longer cared because I was the result of losing everything I loved. I showed Anne mercy. And being her slave is the punishment I deserve. And now she dares hurt and manipulate Capitan Turner’s daughter and her companions. Well, Anne, if you want to play, let’s play.

Anne, you may be one cruel mistress. But I love and have dealt with the sea. And she can be far crueler than you could ever hope to be. I will have no problem bringing you to justice, Anne.

“Sarah… There’s…. It…. I….” I couldn’t bare to look at her anymore. “I’m….”

At this moment, Jess came down and said, “Jacques, I’ll take care of Sarah from here. Best you go to top deck. In a few minutes, get Stryker ready for Anne.”

Without paying Jess any attention, I stand up and slowly make my way up to the top deck.

Jess stops me, “What do you say, Jacques.”

“By. Your. Command.”

“You best watch yourself, Jacques. Would be a shame if the same fate befalls you that befell your precious ‘capitan’.”

I have no idea how Sarah responded to that. I have no idea how I responded to that to be honest. The next thing I remember is standing on the top deck, watching the sea. I know for certain I didn’t do anything to Jess as, well, I’m still alive. Nothing hurts so I’m assuming I simply needed a breather. And since I’m still alive, I’m assuming nothing happened on Sarah’s end either, as if anything happens to her, Anne and Jess better kill me the next time they see me. But who knows? I could be dead wrong with those assumptions.

As I stood there, staring out at the sea, admiring her beauty, I devised my plan to bring Jess and Anne to justice and most importantly: ensure those I care about survive. I care naught for the rest of Anne’s crew; they’ve only been following orders. Even the rumors I’ve overheard suggest they’re scared of the future Anne might bring them to. But Jess and Anne rule with an iron fist; any mutiny has been quickly extinguished. In either case, I’ll take out Jess first, then Anne. Then, when all this is over, I’ll gladly accept whatever fate Sarah wishes to bestow upon me.

I go to untie Stryker from the center mast and untie his legs. I leave his hands tied behind his back and keep him gagged, as per the procedure I’ve used to take Elise and Sarah into their meetings with Anne.

Stryker and I look out to the sea, waiting for Anne to finish with Elise. Eventually, we hear:

“Jacques! Bring me Lieutenant Stryker!” Anne calls out.

Well, Anne, it’s been a pleasant game, but I have checkmate in four moves. And you can’t sacrifice your queen to save you this time.

And in the event this is my last journal entry, understand that this story has no hero. Anne may be the villain, but that doesn’t make me the hero. If you honor anyone, honor Capitan Turner, Lieutenant Stryker, Elise, and Sarah Turner. But in any case, it’s been one helluva journey. This is Jacques. Signing off.

===============================================================

Nothing Is Ever As It Seems — Elise

“Tell me about those you travel with.”

“I know nothing of them!”

“It’s no use to play games. Why are you even defending them? They’re not your allies. They’re not your friends. They do not care about you.”

“I know only as much as you do! I swear!”

“We are your friends, Sarah. We care about you. They don’t. You have no need to protect them. We can protect you from them! Together, you and I will be able to liberate the world! All you need to do is tell me all you can about them!”

“I swear to you, I know nothing. I didn’t think to inquiry about them. I taught they were just a simple mercenary escorting detail. Nothing more.”

I smile. I tied Sarah to a chair, her hands tied behind it, her legs bound together, and she was blindfolded for good measure. We had left port for the north just yesterday. And I decided to get a jump on some of her training. The lesson: when your enemy perceives a weakness, make it a strength.

Stryker and I discussed Sarah many times prior to beginning our escort mission. Even the past couple days we’ve been with Sarah, she definitely has a personality that suggests she is naive. Perhaps she is. But where many see that as a weakness, I taught her to use it as a strength.

“Very good, Sarah. Exercise finished. I do have one suggestion: while you made it clear that you likely knew nothing of me nor Stryker, I reckon you could’ve convinced your adversary that you would’ve fallen to their side. Then you probably could’ve gotten more liberties, and have been more likely to defeat your enemy,” I explain.

“Ah, I understand. I apologize,” she apologizes.

“Never apologize, Sarah. As long as you do not compromise your family nor the people, you have nothing to apologize for,” I reject her apology.

“Ok…. Any reason why you’re leaving me tied up?” Sarah asks. She had a soft, innocent, mischievous smirk betraying herself though.

“You might want to get used to it; you’ll be trained general strategies of getting out of these situations as well as being desensitized to interrogation techniques.”

“Oh, I’m not complaining; I was just wondering if you had anything else in mind for an innocent, young girl….” She's practically taunting me now. I can tell, once she completes her training, she’ll be a valuable asset to the Court.

“None to worry, my dear. We’re gonna try to desensitize you to one of the most devious forms of torture out there…” I say rather maniacally.

“W-what?!” So much concern is found in her voice and face. I almost felt bad for the poor girl. Almost.

Though I am especially thankful I had blindfolded her. She genuinely had no idea what I was about to do to her and it made her deadly nervous. I quickly go in for the kill, tickling her sides with as much fury as I possibly can. This causes Sarah to let out a squeal and some laughter. I immediately clamp my hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.

“If you’re going to be that loud, Sarah, I’ll have to stuff something in your mouth. We don’t want the sailors to get jealous of our fun, now do we?” I ask.

She shakes her head as best as she can despite my hand over her mouth.

“I thought as mu-“ It was at this moment that Stryker came in to investigate Sarah’s squeal.

“Everything ok; I hea-“ He begins as he opens the door to the cabin Sarah and I are in only to find me clamping my hand over Sarah’s mouth. He sighs in disappointment. “Is it every time you’re left alone with someone either you or them end up trussed up?” He asks.

“No! I can think of a couple times where no one ends up bound!” I answer. “Would The Lieutenant Stryker like to join us? I’m sure you would love to have two damsels in distress?”

“Ugh. I’m honored, Elise, but the captain wishes to discuss some things with me. We will unfortunately be sailing near Pirate Queen Anne’s territory. Must remain vigilant.”

“General Pavlovich failed to mention Lieutenant Stryker was all work and no play…” I pout.

“Sorry to disappoint, Elise. But I’m sure you ladies will rope me into something at one point or another, especially considering the excitement present in your eyes. I reckon Sarah’s eyes would expose just as much excitement if she wasn’t blindfolded. Just have to stand fast and hold faith.” Stryker says. “You ladies have fun.” He goes to leave but stops and turns, “And Elise… be gentle….”

I smirk as he leaves me with Sarah.

“Now back to you…” I turn back to Sarah. I leave her momentarily to grab two stockings. As I do so, Sarah attempts to plead:

“Elise, can’t we talk about this? You don’t have to tickle me. Besides, it sounded like you’d rather be a damsel right now.”

“Oh, Sarah, you’re so adorable. But you have no authority right now; you’re my helpless prisoner. Open your mouth,” I command.

She obeys and I stuff one of the stockings in her mouth and tie the other one around her head as a cleave gag.

“Now, let’s test how effective your gag is,” I say as I begin tickling her sides.

She lets out another squeal through her gag and more laughter, all of which is muffled. I continue tickling her for about two minutes before I stop and say:

“Hmm, let’s get you in a better position to tor- tickle you.”

“Hmnmngh?” Sarah asks.

I pick her up from the chair and move her onto the bed in the cabin so that she is face down. I force her into a hogtie before I continue our fun.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was thinking of my training session with Sarah when Jacques took me in to Anne’s cabin to replace Sarah. It’s clear Anne had attempted to corrupt Sarah. Whether or not she was successful is even beyond me. Sarah’s personality does suggest she is naive and impressionable given she’s met with a charismatic individual. And the best lies are those even the teller believes. No doubt Anne believed the lies she told Sarah. Guess I’ll just have to stand fast and hold faith for Sarah. I trust her.

Jacques had bound my arms to the armrests of the chair and my legs to the front legs of the chair. I was still gagged from when Jacques replaced it. Once Jacques left Anne’s quarters with Sarah, Anne removed my gag and I immediately lick my lips and say:

“You know, I don’t usually let anyone tie me up until the third date… but I love your initiative!”

To say that ticked Anne would be an understatement. She didn’t exactly do anything, but there was a sudden shift in the energy of the room, it made me a bit nervous, it made me really excited to see what would unfold.

“You think this a game? You might want to take the situation you find yourself in a bit more seriously,” Anne says.

“Oh, love, life is much too short to be taken seriously. I’d much rather have some fun! Perhaps bring the lass I was with in here!… And maybe Lieutenant Stryker!!… He is quite attractive in that uniform… And imagine what he could do to three damsels! Certainly makes a gir—“ It was at this moment that Anne had brandished her weapon. Rule 1 in this line of work: know your enemy. I knew Anne was a wee bit insane. I knew I meant nothing to her. Figure it’s time to be a bit more reserved now, no more trolling… not as much trolling rather.

“Well, this seems to shut you up,” Anne observes.

“Yeah, I prefer the light, fun, and innocent stuff, ya know?”

“Hmm. Well, moving forward; tell me your name.”

“Elise.”

Anne was beginning to calm down a bit. I still took great satisfaction in knowing that I had riled her up a bit. In any case, Anne continues her interrogation:

“Jess tells me there’s something peculiar about yourself. She even informed me of how she found you. So, tell me the truth: who do you work for?… And if you lie, Sarah will be punished, but I really don’t want to harm the latest addition to my crew…”

I take a deep breath as she says that. I trust you, Sarah. “I’m essentially a glorified secretary, love. Sarah and I both work for the same company and we were on voyage to meet with some business partners. We genuinely had no idea we would be sailing with The Lieutenant Stryker, but how could we pass it up. So Sarah and I used our feminine charm to seduce Lieutenant Stryker in an attempt to pass the time. Many women and men would kill for that kind of opportunity!”

“I see. Trained in the art of deception. Most likely in the business of espionage. Well, you are certainly too dangerous to keep around. I will have you walk the plank when my audience with Stryker concludes. This will give you plenty a opportunity to have Jacques record whatever last thoughts your pathetic mind may have. Consider yourself lucky, I don’t offer many that mercy when I sentence them to such a fate.”

“Wait! Nuhmnmph!” She forcefully gags me with the rag and secures it with an incredibly tight cleave gag. She goes to the door of her quarters to call Jacques. Her thick-heeled boots hitting heavily against the wooden deck of the ship. I certainly had angered and annoyed her. That’s a successful mission in my opinion. And no one can deny that these situations, the ones where I end up bound, become very interesting. Despite the obvious threat to my life, I am still very much interested to see how this story ends!

“Jacques! Bring me Lieutenant Stryker!” I hear Anne call out.

As Jacques replaces me with Stryker, I am left with my hands bound tightly behind my back with my wrists crossed and a tight gag and Stryker is bound exactly as I was, his gag still in place until Anne is ready to remove it.

Normally, I love the idea of being gagged, even in less than ideal scenarios, but I really wish Anne would’ve allowed me to thank her properly for a lovely date. Perhaps even give her a little kiss, even if it was just a peck on the cheek. Though that likely would’ve expedited the fate she had in store for me. In either case, I made sure to give her a suggestive wink as Jacques escorted me back to the central mast.

Jacques forced my back against the central mast and he stared me directly in the eyes. I… was quite scared when I stared deep into his eyes. I saw… fire, hatred. I was more scared staring into his eyes than I was with my audience with Anne. And she is my enemy. A chaotic enemy at that. I reckon Anne is not going to like how this story ends, but I’m just thankful to be a part of it.

“Will you be able to get yourself free if I loosen your bonds a bit?” He asks in a cold tone. You know, the kind of tone that makes you think the person is going to do something they'll likely later regret. Though I doubt Jacques will regret whatever he has in mind.

I nod. The hard part would be trying to fend off Anne’s crew. But they are a bunch of poorly trained scally wags. The only reason Anne is so effective is because of the Revenge, her ship, as opposed to her crew’s ability to actually fight. Jacques did a magnificent job of making it look like I was tied securely to the mast. He wrapped the rope exactly as he had done the prior night leaving it just loose enough for me to escape well enough. Even the knots he did could easily be undone with some solid struggling. He made sure to loosen the rope binding my wrists together as well. Though he did nothing to my gag, leaving me with a tight stuffed cleave gag. Though I won’t complain; it wouldn’t be fun if all my restraints were loosened. And the gag is the best part.

All in all, it would only take me a brief moment to escape my bonds. All I had to do was stand fast until Jacques was ready to begin whatever plan for liberation he had and hold faith that Sarah hadn’t been corrupted. But I said it many times, I’ll say it again: I trust her.

I watch Jacques go below deck to finish setting his plan in motion.

‘Good luck, Jacques. Make your “Capitan” proud…’

Until the Truth is Exposed — Sarah

I genuinely thought Jacques was going to go berserk when Jess mentioned my father like that. They say eyes are the gateway to one’s soul, but I didn’t see Jacques’ soul as I looked him in the eye after Jess had said that. Jacques merely walked off leaving me at the mess table with my hands still tied behind my back and Jess there to be my caretaker. As soon as he left, a huge tension was released from the room.

“I’m sorry I brought up your father,” Jess apologizes. “Anne and I are trying to break Jacques. He murdered our beloved Queen Mary. His actions lead to the death of your father. He is not a good man.”

“I understand. Jacques… deserves to suffer,” I pause for a moment. “I don’t blame you nor Anne for the death of my father in the slightest. You and he were on opposite sides of a war; death is to be expected. I’ve heard stories and the like of military officers and other notable military figures referring to some of their enemies as their ‘friend and enemy’. I trust you saw my father in similar light. I have no doubt that your battle with him was honorable.”

“I’m glad you see the truth, Sarah. We will be fortunate to have you. I suspect Anne likes you.”

“She… does what needs to be done, but she’s really not too bad herself.”

“Oh, good! We... were worried that that you weren’t into women,” she says relieved, though I detected a bit of jealousy as well.

“Hmm! I’m bisexual. Preference for men, but if the right woman comes along, I’ll be hers. And Anne might just be the right woman. But… you aren’t so bad either,” I say almost innocently.

“Hmm! Well, finish your meal first, then I’ll give you an official tour of the ship.” She goes to untie my hands but I stop her:

“Wait! You can keep my hands tied and feed me… i-if you wish….”

She laughs. “Mm, kinky one, eh?”

“I really wouldn’t say that… I just enjoy being tied up; makes things interesting. Life isn’t about living as long as possible, but instead about living young as long as possible. I’ll never shy away from another adventure or challenge. And being tied up provides an adventure and a challenge. And it can be calming; a reminder that not everything is under your control, and that’s alright.”

“You’re an intriguing, young lass, Sarah. It’ll be a true honor to have you a part of the crew,” she says as she begins feeding me.

We more or less sit in silence as I finish eating. Once I finish, we stand up and she unties my hands.

“Come,” she commands. “I’ll show you to your new quarters now that you’re becoming a part of the crew.”

“Lead the way,” I say with an innocent smile.

I follow her through the deck of the ship carrying the rope that had bound my wrists over my shoulders, our thick-heeled boots causing the ship to creak ever so slightly as we walk. In addition, to the creaking of the ship, I could hear the crashing of the waves against the ship’s hull. I found it quite calming. I can see why a life in the navy appealed to my father, why a life at sea was what he chose. I am very happy that my life will be spent sailing the sea. She’s certainly a lot more fun than all the boring people on the continent. Elise mentioned stories about how some cities accused her of being a witch, though. As fun as that sounded, the idea of being tied up when my life is genuinely threatened doesn’t appeal to me. But who knows? Perhaps being bound to a stake is in my future. And a future like that sounds adventurous, which I would admittedly love.

Jess leads me to a private room, albeit a small one. “These will be your quarters, Sarah,” she announces. “Once you’re fully indoctrinated, you will be one of Anne’s top officers. Perhaps even commanding your own vessel should that be what you desire.” Siding with Anne in this conflict is sounding better and better.

I glance around the room, taking note of what all it comes with, thinking strongly about my future, my present, and my past.

“Is something the matter, Sarah,” Jess asks sounding very concerned, noticing that I am deep, almost lost, in thought.

“Nothing,” I purr. “I’m just thinking… private room… two beautiful ladies…” I turn to her and slowly close the very small distance between us. I grab onto each of her hands softly with mine and lean in for a kiss. As we kiss, I unsheathe her sword dropping it aside and guide her to my new bed where I immediately playfully push her onto it and jump over on top of her pinning her down. Using the rope that had bound my wrists, I tie her wrists together in front of her cuff-style. I cinch and knot the rope such that I am left with enough slack rope to secure her hands to the head of the bed.

“Wow, Sarah, I thought you said you weren’t really all that kinky…” Jess says nervously.

“I’m not,” I reassure as I finish securing her hands to the bed and untie the red sash around my waist. “But my allegiance is to Jacques and my father and all their allies. Not you nor Anne.” I tie a knot in the middle of my red sash and stuff it in Jess’ mouth giving her a knotted cleave gag.

“WHAMMPH!” She attempts to scream out, but the knotted cleave gag blocks her attempt.

I heard footsteps of heavy boots running this way. I quickly grabbed Jess’ sword to fight off whoever may be coming to investigate Jess’ cry. The door swung open fast and I make ready to defend myself, but it was Jacques who opened the door and barged in. And I can’t tell you how much I wish there was some sort of device that could capture the vision our eyes perceive because the look on Jacques’ face when he saw me ready to fight with Jess tied up behind me was absolutely priceless. I wait for a moment seeing if he would start off the conversation, but he just stood there, shocked, perplexed, speechless, so I start us off:

“Cat got your tongue, Jacques?”

“How?” He asks.

“How would I know? Have you dealt with any cats recently?” I ask sarcastically.

“I mean, ‘How?’” He motions towards Jess.

“Elise and Lieutenant Stryker taught me well! And I reckon your reaction to my perceived corruption may have helped! May I have your sash, please? True bondage isn’t complete until the legs are tied as well!”

“Uh, sure,” He says as he begins untying the sash around his waist. No doubt he was trying to visualize how I had tied up Jess. But as Elise said: when your enemy perceives a weakness, you can make it a strength. Anne and Jess foolishly believed me naive and impressionable, so I made that misconception a strength. And a little bit of seduction to help me overpower Jess and voila!

Using Jacques’ sash, I tie Jess’ ankles together. She initially tries to kick me away and make it difficult for me to do so, but I ended up just sitting on her legs to keep them still and secure them to the foot of the bed.

“Just out of curiosity,” I ask, “might you have a plan on handling the entirety of the crew?”

Jacques remains silent for a moment, still running the calculations of how we got from me being a corrupted prisoner to me being Jess’ captor. But it seems he eventually manages to understand, for he says, “The crew is divided into one of two stances: there are those who are genuinely fearful of Anne’s rule, and the one’s who would follow Anne wouldn’t do anything that could possibly harm her. We take Anne hostage, the crew is ours. We will simply have to keep an eye on Anne and Jess until we reach the mainland. For now, Elise is practically untied and ready to do her part. I’ll need you to remain here, make sure Jess behaves herself. Stryker and I will deal with Anne.”

“Sounds good!” I come up to him and give him a kiss on the cheek. “I’m sorry I deceived you, Jacques…”

“No, I’m sorry I underestimated you, Ms. Turner. You did grand. Your father and Elise would be proud.”

I smile at him as he goes to leave. “Stay safe, Jacques. You are the hero in this story.”

He stops before he closes the door behind him. He turns to me with a soft smile, “None to worry, Ms. Turner. We have checkmate in two.”

He leaves me alone with a tied up Jess as I await for the rest of his plan, or I guess game, to unfold.

Though, as I record this little chapter of the story in my journal, I’m reminded of my second training session with Elise. That’s where she really introduced me to the art of deception and seduction formally. Though, my mischievous behavior has prompted me to already be exposed to both skills when I was younger. But perhaps I will tell the story of my second training session with Elise in my next journal entry. ‘Till then. Sarah.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Elise told me you wish to speak with me, Ms. Turner?” Lieutenant Stryker asks as soon as he enters the cabin Elise and I have been staying in during our journey north.

“I do,” I purr as I close the distance to him.

“Ms. Turner, what are you doing?” Lieutenant Stryker asks. He is visibly nervous and unsure of what you make of this situation. “I trust that rope in your hand isn’t being planned to use for anything…”

“Nothing at all, Stryker…” I purr as lean in to kiss him. He lets a soft mmph as I do so as I slowly guide his hands together. Once they are, I immediately set to work tying them together.

“Ms. Turner, what is the meaning of this?” Stryker protests calmly, without offering any resistance.

“Hush now. Elise doesn’t want you to talk.”

“Ms. Turner, I kindly request you untie me.”

“I said Elise doesn’t want you to talk, Stryker,” I remind him as I grab two nearby stockings I had laid out precisely for this purpose. I stuff one in his mouth and I use the other to secure it in his mouth as a cleave gag. I push him into the chair that Elise had tied me up in just yesterday from when this takes place for interrogation training and some tickle torture. I tie each of his legs to each of the front legs of the chair.

With Stryker fully trussed up, I make plans to tie up Elise as a bit of “extra credit”. I go to leave the cabin to get Elise, but before I close the door behind me, I turn back to Stryker and taunt with an evil smile, “Stay there, Stryker! I have to fetch Elise!”

I rush through the halls of the ship in search of Elise. She had left me alone so that I may carry out my plans to tie up Stryker alone. She had indeed ordered me to fetch her when I had completed my task. But I had slightly other plans. I worked myself up a little bit so that I could give the illusion that something had happened to Stryker.

“Elise!” I call out several times as I rush through the halls of the ship. I, of course, do eventually find her and she immediately notices a less than ideal energy radiating from me:

“Sarah? What’s wrong?” She asks with a lot of concern in her voice.

“It’s Stryker! I dunno what happened, but… he needs your help! Please hurry!” I announce with as much distress and concern as I possibly can. I suppose I did a decent enough job of acting for sure enough, Elise rushes to our cabin with me closely in tow.

As soon as we enter our cabin, I immediately pull Elise close to me, clamping my right hand over her mouth, my left hand doing its best to restrain her.

“Sarah, what-mph!” She attempts to ask as I spring my trap.

I guide her over to the bed where I playfully push her onto it and pin her down face down. Using a couple more pieces of rope and two more stockings, I put Elise into a similar hogtie that she had put me in when she tickled me and I give her the same gag I gave Stryker. She didn't offer much resistance as I tied her up. It was clear that she wanted this. Perhaps this extra credit was more of a test? Perhaps she read into my mischievous past and suspected I would do this? Hoped I would play it out in such a way?

With Elise and Stryker entirely at my mercy, I muster up the best villain voice I could: “Now then, Elise, you will recall that just yesterday you subjected me to a half hour of merciless tickle torture while I was hogtied much like you are right now. I believe it’s only fair that I repay the favor, don’t ya think?”

Elise shakes her head begging me to not tickle her. But what kind of villain would I be if I obeyed the wishes of my prisoners? And... her eyes suggested once more that she *wanted* this.

“And perhaps we will also discover an answer to the question: Is The Lieutenant Stryker ticklish as well?” Spoiler alert: he is.

I subjected both my prisoners to a half hour of merciless tickling each before I finally let them go. Here’s the first things they said to me when I untied them:

Elise, with a smirk: “Well done, Sarah, you seem proficient in the art of deception…”

Stryker, sounding unamused: “And your seduction wasn’t terrible… Though you ladies will be the death of me, I swear it…”

The training sessions with Elise and Stryker have been a blast, and I do believe I am learning a lot from them. I don’t think I would have deceived Anne nor Jess without them. But I digress. I just have to stand fast and hold faith that Jacques’ plan is a success. Which it will be.

Good to see that Sarah is much more than a helpless cutie, makes her character even better for me

Glad I read this story, it is really good. You did make it more difficult for yourself as a writer, using the POV of the different persons, but you did a great job and this story draws you in. Thank you for posting and please don't stop writing.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to comment.

Many apologies for delaying this chapter. There were/are many parts of it that I was ultimately dissatisfied with, at least for this version of the telling. As well as my internship picking up quite a bit as well. I'll likely take another couple weeks to post the following chapter; many apologies.

Thank you for the kind words! Taking on different personas can be challenging, and it is a bit more time consuming to have to get into the character of whoever telling it, but I'm quite used to telling the same stories from different perspectives. I think it adds a bit more flavor since "we are all the heroes of our own story".

Thank you all for the kind words! Really glad the story is captivating y'all! I hope the next chapter delivers!

Once more, many apologies for the delay! I'll do my best to get the next chapter out as soon as I can, but until then, I hope you'll enjoy this next chapter:

Somehow, It’s Elise’s Fault — Stryker

If there’s one thing I learned over these past two days, Elise is almost always behind anything that happens to me. First, she was all like, “Oh, Lieutenant Stryker, oh, you’re so attractive, and handsome, and prolly know how to treat a lady.” And my general had to insist we were compatible. So I take her to my private training quarters and she’s all like “I’m actually a badass heroine and part of a secretive organization that we want you to join! You should tie me up so I can recruit you! I know you’ll like it!” But that’s not all! Two days into the trip, she essentially goes, “Hey, Sarah, I want to see Stryker tied up ‘cause I bet he’ll look stunning with rope wrapped around his wrists and ankles! He doesn’t trust me but you should totally kiss him and maybe have some fun with both of us!” She’s going to be the death of me…. I think I might come to love her….

In either case, it’s not befitting a gentleman to rant like that, especially about a lady… even if that lady is Elise…. I don’t have much to report in this journal entry. Anne and Jess very clearly knew who I was, and they didn’t give me very many liberties as they did with Sarah and even with Elise. But I suppose I should at minimum report something of note and perhaps given so clarity to the title of this entry…. I’m becoming incredibly unprofessional.

In either case, in regards to the title of the entry, Jacques was taking us all to have a private audience with Anne. I had the honor of going last and it made me think of day three of our trip. I didn’t think much of it, but looking back, I blame Elise.

Day One of our trip, Elise had tied Sarah up and was beginning the first part of her interrogation resistance training… but it soon turned into an innocently kinky situation that I had the *honor* of walking in on.

Day Two of our trip, Elise had tasked Sarah with tying me up. Elise had told her to use whatever *assets* she had at her disposable, which just so happened to be her flirty, naive personality.

And here we were on Day Three. I was looking through my notes and such, when Elise came in.

“Don’t you ever get sick of wearing the same thing everyday?” She asks. Couldn’t even bother to give a greeting. What is the world coming to if we can’t even give proper salutations to our allies?

“What? The uniform?” I ask a bit confused as I turn to her. Sure enough, I was wearing my iconic uniform as always. “I hope I never have the opportunity to take it off…”

We stare at each other for a moment as she considers what I just said.

“You… mean…” She starts.

I chuckle. “What you’re thinking makes it sound worse than what it really is. I have no desire to die, but death is inevitable. I want mine to mean something. And, with any luck, I pray nobody will talk about it.”

She pauses for another moment. “You don’t like being the hero, do you?” She asks.

“I don’t like being regarded as such. I’m just a man with a musket and a sword,” I explain.

“The people need their heroes, Stryker. It helps provide light to the dark world,” she counters.

“They praise me. They do not honor me. I understand the need for heroes, but people need to understand that I’ve seen and done things I wish I didn’t have to.”

“I understand. You want them to remember and respect the sacrifices you and your friends made without praising nor glorifying you.”

“Precisely so. But…” I realized that I made the situation incredibly heavy. As Elise mentioned, the world is dark; it is our duty to shed some light unto it. “…the uniform does have some perks aside from its meaning in the service. I do look sexy in it!”

Elise giggles. “You look like you’re torturing yourself in that thing!”

“Well, I guess I just like torturing myself a bit.” Time to do Elise a favor. She makes everything she deals with extremely lighthearted. She seems to think everything is a game. That’s what annoys me the most about her, but I somehow also respect her for it. “And you can’t really judge my enjoying torturing myself, Ms. Tie-Me-Up-So-I-Can-Recruit-You!”

She giggles once more. “Sounds like you want to tie me up again!” She teases. She taunted actually. She wants to be tied up once more.

I chuckle. “Sounds like YOU want me to tie you up!”

“Do it!”

I sigh and motion for her to lie down on the bed. She obeys. I grab four pieces of rope and will tie one end of each rope to each of her ankles and wrists and tie the other end of the rope to the corresponding corners of the bed forcing her to stretch out in a tight spread eagle position.

“Interesting position you have chosen, Lieutenant,” she comments. “The connotation-“

“Don’t get any ideas… Best I don’t get sick to my stomach quite yet…” I tease.

“Well, if you don’t want to hear any ideas, you know what you have to do…”

I sigh, “Right….” I grab an exquisite handkerchief and an equally exquisite cloth garter. I tenderly stuff the handkerchief in Elise’s mouth and secure it by using the garter as a cleave gag.

As soon as I finish securing Elise’s gag, I hear the door to the cabin open. Sarah comes through the door and stops immediately in her tracks at the scene she just walked into. Her eyes move between Elise and me, trying to determine what she walked into and how this scene ends.

“Ms. Turner, it’s not what it looks like!” I’ll admit, I was incredibly embarrassed at Sarah walking in on us.

“So…. This isn’t a test?” Sarah asks, still slightly unsure of what to make of the situation.

“N-no…..” I answer.

“So, you decided to tie Elise up and didn’t even think to invite me into the fun?!?!?” She asks sounding offended.

I just stare at her in disbelief. Of course, of all the ladies I could’ve been stuck with, it had to be Elise AND Sarah. Whatever I did to deserve this punishment, I kindly beg for forgiveness and will do the utmost to rectify the sins I’ve committed!

“So, are you requesting for me to tie you up or to tie me up?” I ask.

“Hmm,” she ponders her options. “I tied you up yesterday, it’s only fair you get your revenge, Lieutenant. Isn’t that what they say: an eye for an eye?”

“Makes the world blind. You should only reciprocate if they’d enjoy it. Otherwise, you should strive for justice. In this very particular case, they are one and the same. Especially considering you kissed me…”

“Hmmph?” Elise asks before she giggles through her gag. No doubt the idea of me being seduced was amusing to her. In my defense, Sarah is an ally, I didn’t expect her to attempt to manipulate me like that…. Though, it is nice to have a family again…. Even if it is Sarah and Elise.

Sarah got a little red in remembrance as she sits down on the floor. “Lieutenant, make it strict please… Consider it discipline for my behavior yesterday.”

“As you wish, Ms. Turner.”

I grab another piece of rope and tie Sarah’s hands behind her back in a reverse prayer position. Once I tie the knot, I ask her if that feels alright, to which she responds with “perfect.” I then tie her a breast harness being very meticulous in how I guide the rope. As I guide the rope, I notice she starts to almost enter a trance. I ask her once more if the rope feels ok once I tie that knot, to which she nods. I help her lie down onto her stomach and move to tie each of her legs in a frog tie position. Just as I did with Elise, I grab another lovely handkerchief and garter to gag Sarah with.

With Sarah all secured, I stand up and say, “Well, ladies, I beg you to let me know the soonest you need to be let out, until then, I have work I must attend to, alright?”

They both nod and I return to the desk to continue my work.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And now to report on my audience with Pirate Queen Anne:

Jacques had tied me to the chair, my arms tied to each arm rest, my legs tied to the front legs of the chair. Soon after Jacques leaves, Anne readies for my interrogation.

Jacques had untied me from the mast early to prepare for the transition from Elise to me. During that time, we discussed our plans. I’m glad he found meaning in life again. Every time I looked into his eyes, I saw pain, regret, and hatred. The death of his captain caused him a lot of pain, regret for showing Anne mercy, and hatred for himself for letting everything happen the way it did. But I fear Jacques will destroy himself before this story ends. I was trained to kill only as a necessity, that the enemy is very rarely the bad guy. Anne may be twisted, but killing in cold blood is dangerous. But my priority, as is Jacques’, is Sarah and, to a lesser extent, Elise. No need to give a psych eval of Jacques nor the situation in which he finds himself in.

“Lieutenant Stryker,” Anne begins, “I expected more of you.”

“What? You expected me to be taller? You know height doesn’t really provide the advantages you think it does….”

“No… I don’t judge adversaries by their height, but by their skill. And you didn’t put up as much a fight as I would have hoped. It’s almost disappointing….”

“I’m sorry to disappoint. I’ve been disappointing my two companions during the duration of our journey.”

“Elise and Sarah?”

“They… told you their names?”

“I’m not the kind of woman you want to mess with, Stryker. If I can’t get what I want, even if you can’t give it to me, especially if you can’t give it to me, I get angry, and when I get angry…” She aims her pistol at me, “I need to get rid of the stressor.”

“Well, I could always leave. I’m only here because you brought me aboard. Sounds as though you stress yourself out more than anything else.”

“You don’t fear me at all, Lieutenant Stryker? You don’t fear what I could do to you or your companions?”

“There’s only one thing people fear. I don’t fear it for myself. I do fear it for the others, but I know this interrogation is solely for your own twisted pleasure. No sense in fearing the inevitable.”

I clearly was annoying Anne, angering her even. I trust Jacques to succeed, but if he doesn’t, I always wanted my death to mean something, but at least Anne won’t find as much pleasure from it.

“The things I could do to you, Stryker. I would love to make you beg. But I sense that nothing I could do will cause you to break. We have nothing more to discuss, Stryker,” she forcefully replaces my stuffed cleave gag and summons Jacques.

But Anne would make the biggest mistake she possibly could’ve made during this journey. Her anger and hatred blinded her, accented her arrogance. I pray she’ll come to regret this mistake.

Very nice work, worth the wait. Don't force yourself into a time schedule. We'll take them as they come. ;)

First of all I want to tell you that its fine if you take long to publish chapters, I know how it feels because I have been there myself but I also know that readers don't really care about how long you take to publish chapters as long as they are good, or at least that's the case for me.

About the last chapter all I want to say is that even though the scene between Anne and Stryker was short it was pretty intense and I really liked it, the wait sure was worth it.

Stryker sure has no time to get bored with Elise and Sarah around, they make for a really fun trio. Also and like many have already told you, don't feel bad about the delay on the chapters, we all get that you, like everyone on the site, have a life outside writing these stories and that's fine.
