Melissa is a 12-years old girl that can be easily described as your typical nerdy girl, with glasses and braces, good grades and highly intelligent, also shy, silent and of a reserved demeanor.
Even though not you would a call a “teacher’s pet”, Melissa has gained the respect and fondness of most of her teachers, so by this reason, she is allowed to stay in the Computer Lab during the recess instead of going out and play with other children; or what is more likely is her case, reading a book in a hidden corner of the building.
As most kids, she likes to hang out in Facebook, to see funny animals and weird memes; but she has a secret passion, something that you would not likely expect from introverted girl like Melissa, a couple of years ago she found out that she likes what the internet calls “bondage”, she likes ropes, handcuff, gags, scarfs, roll of tape, and all the things that you can imagine that you use to tie someone up.
So for several months now, she has been using her time in the lab to search for scenes of girls, well, she searches for boys as well but they don’t have same effect on her as girls, who have been captured by the bad guys, or in rare instances the good guys, then bound and gagged in movies or tv shows or even cartoons instead.
One day, while she is re-watching one of her favorite scenes, from “Into the Blue” with Jessica Alba; she feels a pair of small hands posed on her shoulders, she freezes for a moment, and then quickly pulls the headphones from her ears.
When Melissa turns around, she sees her classmate Katie, the most popular girl of 6th grade and one of the most popular of the entire school due to her parents being rich and famous.
Katie, weirdly enough, does share her looks with Melissa; both are around the same height, both have long straight hair, but Katie’s is black while Melissa’s is blonde, and both are skinny and fair-skinned.
“Well, well, well, what do we have here?” Katie said.
Melissa had that deer-in-the-headlights stare and simply couldn’t even form coherent thoughts.
“Miss Perfect has a kinky side, who would have thought it?” Katie continued mockingly.
“…….Katie………Uhm………..Eh………Hi….” was all the still shocked and scared Melissa could say.
“So this is where you disappear to everyday, huh?” Katie said, “Is that the wrap duct tape gag scene from Into the Blue, right?”
“Yeah”, Melissa said almost whispering and blushing fiercely, “Are you going to tell anybody about this?”
“No, no one will find out about this, if you agree to one condition”, Katie said with a big smile.
“What condition?” Melissa muttered under her breath with her stared nailed to the floor.
“Given that I know your secret, you have to keep my secret now, ok?” Katie said extending her hand, “Do we have a deal?”
“What kind of secret?” Melissa said still being unable to lift her stare or speak above a whisper.
“I won’t tell you unless you agree”, Katie said with a triumphant smile and her hand still extended.
“Fine; we have a deal”, Melissa said reluctantly and slowly extending her hand, “So, what your secret?”
“I like being tied up as well”, Katie said as Melissa quickly perked up, “also tying up”.
“Really? Or are you just messing with me?” Melissa said still apprehensive but noticeably cheerful.
“No, of course not”, Katie said genuinely surprised by the question, “Do you think that I would lie to the first
person that I know that likes this?”
“The first? What about your friends?” Melissa asked curious.
“Those Valley girls think that tying their wrist behind their back with masking tape is hardcore BDSM”, Katie said rolling her eyes, which caused Melissa to start giggling, “And don’t get me started in what they think is the most effective gag ever”.
By now both girls were laughing loudly, and once they were being able to calm down, Katie said: “See, relax, we are friends now, isn’t it?”
“Really, are we?” Melissa said with a big grin, “Because now that we are confessing things, I have to admit that I’m pretty bad at socializing and making friends”
“You could have fooled me”, Katie said while Melissa pouted and faked being offended.
“So is that your favorite scene?” Katie said turning her attention to the PC screen and taking a chair to sit near it.
“Huh?” Melissa said a little confused.
“I’m talking about the video that caught you watching before”, Katie said pointing to the PC.
“Oh yeah, it’s one of my favorites along with the one from Small Soldiers and the Transporter”, Melissa said
closing the web explorer and erasing her browsing history of the day.
“My favorites are the one from that Focus movie and all the scenes from Pretty Little Liars”, Katie responded, “Did you watch Annihilation?”
“Yeah, it was cool, but it was dark and it was hard to see anything”, Melissa said.
“You know, I have been searching on how to make the muzzle that they use on the Handmaid’s Tale”, Katie said standing up.
“Really, what would you use it for?” Melissa said while picking up her bag and turning off the computer.
“Eh, I don’t know, I think that it would make a cute centerpiece on the dinner room”, Katie said sarcastically.
“Stupid question, I know”, Melissa said blushing slightly, “So, have ever you tie yourself up?”
“Yeah, a couple of times, once with duct tape and another with a pair of toy handcuffs and scarf tied between my lips”, Katie said before letting out a sigh, “But it’s so hard to tie your own hands behind your back, and tying them in front is no fun”.
As the girls walked out of lab and Melissa locked the door with the key that one of the professor had gave her, Katie asked her: “What about you, have you ever done it?”
“No, I have never been able to gather the enough courage to do it”, Melissa said, “But I have gagged myself a few times when I’m home alone”.
*RING**RING**RING*
“Looks like the recess is over, see you at lunch”, Katie said.
“Lunch?” Melissa said a little startled.
“Yeah, if you don’t have any other plans of course”, Katie said with a shy smile.
“Yeah, no, I never have any; but what about your friends?” Melissa said staring at the floor.
“What about them? Those girls only hang out with me because their parents hope that my super-rich and uber-
famous parents would lend them money or exert some influence in their benefit only because their daughters are my so-called “friends””, Katie said nonchalantly.
“Well, I always saw you with them, so I thought that they were your friends”, Melissa said lifting her stare.
“Yeah, right; If we are going to talk about how many friends we have, and not shallow girls that only talk to you
because you are richer than them, then you and I have just as many”, Katie said slightly annoyed, “So, see you at
lunch?”
“Yeah. And Katie, where are you going?” Melissa said smiling and blushing again.
“To the chemistry lab, why?” Katie asked confused.
“Today is Thursday, you have history class with me”, Melissa said giggling.
“Oh god, I thought that today was Friday; I have to run to my locker”, Katie said before sprinting away.
