Part 59
Sara now stood in the dark next to the tree she had been tied to. Her wrists remained bound behind her back and her legs and ankles remained firmly and securely tied. She hit a ball gag secured in her mouth. It was dark but she could see the light from the house about 100 feet away.
Sarah knew that Kenzie was inside the house probably still tied to the chair. She figured that her only chance at getting out of this was to make her way to the house, somehow get into the house, get to Kenzie and maybe the two of them could help untie one another.
The first problem was the way she was bound. With her legs and ankles tied together when she tried to walk she could only move her feet enough to move maybe 1/2 inch to an inch at a time. It would take a very long time for her to make it to the house this way. Then it occurred to her that maybe she could hop. That would at least get her further with each hop but there was always the chance that she could fall down. The ground was somewhat uneven and she would have to be careful. It would be hard to maintain balance tied up as she is.
Never having done this before Sarah tentatively tries hopping. She makes it a few inches and almost loses her balance. She tries it again and again and each time she is successful and feels a little bit more confident. It sounds crazy but Sarah is actually having fun. This is quite a challenge. Almost like a sporting event. She feels that she is not actually in danger because I had come back to check on her and she also knows that this is a really difficult challenge for her to overcome. She begins to feel almost a sense of excitement when she thinks that maybe she will be over to overcome and actually get out of this.
It takes quite a bit of time hopping but Sarah makes her way toward the house. At one point she comes to a small fallen tree which is about 6 inches above the ground. This is quite a dilemma because she really hasn't been hoping that high and in order to get across the tree she would have to practically vault across it. This would also mean that she could lose her balance and fall. There are a lot of leaves so she's not particularly worried about hurting herself.
She takes a deep breath, to the extent possible through her gag, and jumps. She just barely makes it over the tree but when she lands she loses her balance and topples to the ground. She is now only about 50 feet from the house but she is lying on the ground bound hand and foot. After lying there for a few seconds she decides to get up and continue on her way but when she tries she finds that is much easier said than done. With her wrists, legs, and ankles bound she finds it impossible to get back to her feet. “This is going to be difficult,” she thinks.
Sarah lies on the ground feeling quite helpless. She squirms around but that doesn ‘t accomplish anything. She tests her bonds around her wrists just to see if by chance they have loosened any so that she can free herself but alas they are just as secure as ever. Her bonds are synched between her wrists and that does not seem to be coming loose at all.
“How am I going to get back up on my feet?” Sarah thinks. Sarah sees a tree nearby so she manages to make her way over to the tree and set herself up with her back against the tree. She is able to use her bound hands to help herself up. Then she begins to think that maybe she can use the tree for leverage to work herself back up onto her feet. She puts her back against the tree. She is fairly limber so by pushing with her back against the tree and using her hands a little bit against the bark of the tree she is able, with the strength in her legs, to finally get herself back up on her feet.
“Finally!” Sarah thinks to herself. Then she begins her slow and meticulous hop toward the house. It takes quite a while but she finally gets to the back steps. There are only a few wooden steps. She looks at them and wonders exactly how she's going to navigate this. With her ankles bound the way they are she cannot step up and the steps are a little bit too high to hop. If she were to fall she could be hurt here. She finally decides that she should turn around and sit on the highest steps you can reach which is about the third step of five. She sits down on that step then she puts her feet up on the top of the bottom step and using her hands pushes herself up on the next step. She repeats this until she is at the top and is now sitting at the top of the steps.
This of course presents another dilemma because she is also sitting next to the back door of the house. In a sitting position she is unable to reach the doorknob. For that matter she doesn't even know if the door is locked. Her only hope is that it is not locked. In the same manner that she pushed herself up against the tree she pushes herself up against the railing lining the steps and finally gets herself back up on her feet. Now she is standing at the back door still bound hand and foot.
Sarah turns her back to the door and reaches for the door knob. She turns the doorknob and pushes and is able to open the door. She slowly turns around and looks inside the house At which time she sees Kenzie still tied to the chair.

Part 60
Kenzie has been sitting tied to the chair for such a long time that she has kind of dozed off. Periodically she tries to test her bonds to see if there is any way to escape but nothing ever comes of that.
She remains impressed at just how securely she is tied. The rope is cinched between her wrists causing the rope to act much like handcuffs around her wrists. The bindings are quite tight but not painfully so and the knots are well out of her reach. The fact that her elbows are tied quite closely together makes it that much more difficult for her to do anything to try to squeeze out of her wrist bindings. She's actually kind of enjoying the feeling of sitting there trying to figure a way out of this but also realizes that it does not seem possible.
Suddenly she is jolted awake by the sound of the door opening. At first she figures it was just me coming back into the room but she looks toward the door and sees that it is Sarah. Sarah is struggling to get the door open because Kenzie can see that she is still bound hand and foot. Sarah has her back turned toward the door and is pushing the doorknob with her bound hands behind her back. It is actually quite amusing to watch her try to get the door open.
Kenzie can see that Sarah’s ropes are quite securely tied. Her wrists are bound behind her back and her elbows are tied quite closely together. Her legs are tied at the ankles and knees and she is gagged with a ball gag. It is a wonder that she can move at all. She is showing herself to be quite athletic.
Kenzie cries out in her gag but what comes out is quite muffled. She hears Sarah's reply in muffled tones as well. As Kenzie looks on Sarah gets the door open and then begins hopping slowly toward Kenzie. When she gets within a couple feet of Kenzie she stops. The two bound girls just look at each other for a minute.
Sarah has an idea and turns her back on Kenzie. She moves around the back side of Kenzie and Kenzie can feel Sara's hands near the back of her neck. Kenzie is thinking, ‘what on earth is she doing’. After a minute she feels the ball gag loosening from her mouth and the straps holding it falling away. She spits out the ball gag and realizes that for the first time in a long time she is not gagged.
“Thank you,” she says to Sarah. Sarah is merely able to mumble into her own gag.
“I would take your gag out but I'm still a little bit tied up here,” Kenzie says, realizing that since she is still tied securely to the chair there is no way she can reach Sarah’s gag to undo it. Sarah just nods.
After standing there looking at each other for a minute Sarah has an idea and she begins to hop around toward the backside of Kenzie.
“What are you doing now”, Kenzie asks
Sarah simply mumbles into her gag and continues to make her way around the backside of Kenzie. Once she is on the backside of Kenzie she has a look at the way Kenzie is tied. She sees that not only are Kenzie’s wrists tied but her elbows are tied as well. There are quite a few knots and that is going to take some effort to get those untied considering that all the work that she does on untying Kenzie will need to be done with her bound hands behind her back and she won't really be able to see what she is doing very well.
Sarah does her best to memorize the way Kenzie’s knots are tied so that when she turns her back she can find the knots and begin to untie them. It appears that the knots binding Kenzie’s elbows are going to be the easiest to reach. Sarah turns around with difficulty and begins to back up toward Kenzie. By squatting down a little she is able to get her bound hands at about the same level as Kenzie’s elbows. Sarah feels around and eventually reaches the Knights. The going is quite slow but she is able to undo the knots and eventually the ropes binding Kenzie’s elbows drop away.
“Thank you,” Kenzie exclaims. “I've been sitting like this for so long. It feels good just to be able to move my arms around a little bit even though my wrists are still tied.”
Sarah is feeling good that she's been able to undo some of the knots blinding her friend but she realizes she has a long way to go to get Kenzie untied.

Kenzie is a strong swimmer and that shows in her strong arms and slender wrists. Those slender wrists are currently bound quite securely. The tanned skin of her wrists is wrapped multiple times with strong, white rope and then that rope is cinched with knots which are between her arms and above her wrists. Sarah will have to position herself in such a way to be able to reach those knots if she is going to be able to untie her friend.

Well, at least they're working on getting themselves loose. While I think they might have the chance to get free, I'm still suspecting their friendly kidnapper might be lurking about, waiting to make things difficult. Cool chapter, thank you.
Yes, to the previous commenters. It is delightful to read about Sarah's struggles to free Kenzie. However you take us forward from here, @Trammel, it will be wonderful to read. Excellent, detailed descriptions. Thank you for your efforts.

The tanned skin of her wrists is wrapped multiple times with strong, white rope and then that rope is cinched with knots which are between her arms and above her wrists. Sarah will have to position herself in such a way to be able to reach those knots if she is going to be able to untie her friend.

Part 60
Kenzie has been sitting tied to the chair for such a long time that she has kind of dozed off. Periodically she tries to test her bonds to see if there is any way to escape but nothing ever comes of that.
She remains impressed at just how securely she is tied. The rope is cinched between her wrists causing the rope to act much like handcuffs around her wrists. The bindings are quite tight but not painfully so and the knots are well out of her reach. The fact that her elbows are tied quite closely together makes it that much more difficult for her to do anything to try to squeeze out of her wrist bindings. She's actually kind of enjoying the feeling of sitting there trying to figure a way out of this but also realizes that it does not seem possible.
Suddenly she is jolted awake by the sound of the door opening. At first she figures it was just me coming back into the room but she looks toward the door and sees that it is Sarah. Sarah is struggling to get the door open because Kenzie can see that she is still bound hand and foot. Sarah has her back turned toward the door and is pushing the doorknob with her bound hands behind her back. It is actually quite amusing to watch her try to get the door open.
Kenzie can see that Sarah’s ropes are quite securely tied. Her wrists are bound behind her back and her elbows are tied quite closely together. Her legs are tied at the ankles and knees and she is gagged with a ball gag. It is a wonder that she can move at all. She is showing herself to be quite athletic.
Kenzie cries out in her gag but what comes out is quite muffled. She hears Sarah's reply in muffled tones as well. As Kenzie looks on Sarah gets the door open and then begins hopping slowly toward Kenzie. When she gets within a couple feet of Kenzie she stops. The two bound girls just look at each other for a minute.
Sarah has an idea and turns her back on Kenzie. She moves around the back side of Kenzie and Kenzie can feel Sara's hands near the back of her neck. Kenzie is thinking, ‘what on earth is she doing’. After a minute she feels the ball gag loosening from her mouth and the straps holding it falling away. She spits out the ball gag and realizes that for the first time in a long time she is not gagged.
“Thank you,” she says to Sarah. Sarah is merely able to mumble into her own gag.
“I would take your gag out but I'm still a little bit tied up here,” Kenzie says, realizing that since she is still tied securely to the chair there is no way she can reach Sarah’s gag to undo it. Sarah just nods.
After standing there looking at each other for a minute Sarah has an idea and she begins to hop around toward the backside of Kenzie.
“What are you doing now”, Kenzie asks
Sarah simply mumbles into her gag and continues to make her way around the backside of Kenzie. Once she is on the backside of Kenzie she has a look at the way Kenzie is tied. She sees that not only are Kenzie’s wrists tied but her elbows are tied as well. There are quite a few knots and that is going to take some effort to get those untied considering that all the work that she does on untying Kenzie will need to be done with her bound hands behind her back and she won't really be able to see what she is doing very well.
Sarah does her best to memorize the way Kenzie’s knots are tied so that when she turns her back she can find the knots and begin to untie them. It appears that the knots binding Kenzie’s elbows are going to be the easiest to reach. Sarah turns around with difficulty and begins to back up toward Kenzie. By squatting down a little she is able to get her bound hands at about the same level as Kenzie’s elbows. Sarah feels around and eventually reaches the Knights. The going is quite slow but she is able to undo the knots and eventually the ropes binding Kenzie’s elbows drop away.
“Thank you,” Kenzie exclaims. “I've been sitting like this for so long. It feels good just to be able to move my arms around a little bit even though my wrists are still tied.”
Sarah is feeling good that she's been able to undo some of the knots blinding her friend but she realizes she has a long way to go to get Kenzie untied.
Sarah turns herself around and takes another look at Kenzie’s wrists. Sarah has always been impressed by her athletic friend. Kenzie is a strong swimmer and that shows in her strong arms and slender wrists. Those slender wrists are currently bound quite securely. “He all aaa iii u-u-orll”, Sarah tries to say through her gag.
“What did you say”, Kenzie asks.
“Ah ed he all aaa iii u-u-orll”, Sarah says again.
“I really can't understand you,” Kenzie says. It almost sounds like you're saying that the ball gag is uncomfortable.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Sarah exclaims.
“Well I'm still kind of tied up here’, Kenzie says. “If you were able to get down on the floor and get your head near my hands I may be able to get the strap undone.”
“Yeah, eee ry,” Sarah tries to say.
“I have no idea what you said there,” Kenzie says.
This means that Sarah, still bound hand and foot, needs to try to get down on the floor so that Kenzie can reach the strap at the back of her neck. This is easier said than done. Sarah leans against the back of the chair that Kenzie is tied to and using her bound hands manages to ease herself down to the floor. She backs up to Kenzie near Kenzie’s bound hands. She can feel Kenzie trying to fiddle with the strap at the back of her neck.
“You do realize this is not easy?” Kenzie says. “It's not like I can see what I'm doing. I can kind of feel the strap but it's awfully hard to grab ahold of it with my hands tied. I'm doing the best I can.”
Kenzie feels like a blind person trying to fumble with something without being able to see it. She works diligently and finally manages to pull the strap free. The gag falls out of Sara's mouth.
“That's a relief,” Sarah exclaims. “My jaws were hurting something awful. At least we can talk now.”
“I'm glad I could be of assistance’, Kenzie says. “What's our next move?”
“I see the way you're still tied up. I don't know that you have a next move at this point. If I can get myself back up high enough I can start trying to get your hands free”, Sarah says.
“Sounds like a plan”, says Kenzie. “You are correct that I'm not really able to move all that much.”
“I'm only slightly better off than you are”, Sarah says.
Sarah is sitting on the floor and needs to figure out how to get herself back up high enough so that she can reach Kenzie’s tied hands. She figures being up on her knees may be high enough. She struggles on the floor to try to figure a way to get back on her knees. It is very difficult. After struggling for a while and grabbing onto the chair she is finally able to work herself back up onto her knees.
“Good thing I work out”, Sarah says. “That was not easy.”
“None of this is easy”, Kenzie says. “But are you enjoying it?”
“Enjoying it?” Sarah says. “I guess in a way I am. It's a challenge and I think we might actually be able to win this, at least thanks to me.”
“Thanks to you?” Kenzie asks. “Why is that?”
“Well it's not like you're able to do much of anything”, Sarah says. “If I hadn't been able to get to you, you would stay tied up to that chair for who knows how long.”
“You have a point there”, Kenzie says. “By the way, where were you all this time before you came in the door?”
“Your friend had tied me to a tree out in the yard. I was completely unable to move”, Sarah says.
“Then how did you get free from the tree and get into the house?” Kenzie asks.
“Your friend came out and freed me from the tree. There was no way I was getting free from that by myself just like there's no way you're getting free from the chair by yourself. That friend of yours really knows how to tie people up”, Sarah says.
“I would say he does as you can see by our current situation,” Kenzie replies.
“I have a question,” Sarah says. “We've only been tied up for a few hours but you let him kidnap you and keep you tied up for an entire weekend. How were you able to stand that?”
“It's not like I had a choice,” Kenzie replied. “We did have a safe word but I really wanted to know what it was like to be kidnapped and so I never used it. I really wanted to know what it would be like to be kidnapped and helpless.”
“Well, you certainly seem to have gotten your wish both then and now”, Sarah said. “Are you glad you did it?”
“I am”, Kenzie said. “It was a very interesting, sometimes scary, but also somewhat fun weekend.”
“Is it still fun?” asked Sarah.
“Yes”, said Kenzie. “Especially if we can get out of this.”
“Well that's what I'm going to try to allow us to do,” Sarah said.
As they are talking Sarah has backed up to Kenzie’s hands and is trying to feel for the knots that are holding her wrists. It is very difficult for Sarah since Sarah's hands are also tied behind her back so she can't actually see what she is doing. There are quite a few knots binding Kenzie’s wrists and the knots are quite tight. It is quite difficult but Sarah is making some progress, one knot at a time.
“If I can loosen the knots that are cinching your wrist ropes together it will make it easier for you to escape”, Sarah says. “That's what I'm trying to do but those knots are hard to reach. I'm doing my best.”
Sarah continues to work on Kenzie’s wrist bindings and eventually manages to free the last knot cinching her wrist bindings. Once that rope is loosened the ropes binding Kenzie’s wrists are not as tight.
“I think I got it”, Sarah says. “See if you can free your hands.”
Kenzie tries to pull her hands apart but they are still tied and with her elbows tied she is limited in how much she can do.
“I'm trying”, Kenzie says. “It's just difficult to move much with my elbows tied.”
Kenzie continues to struggle and eventually is able to get her hands free but her elbows are still tied.
“I did it!” Kenzie exclaims. Kenzie is now sitting in the chair with her arms still over the back of the chair and her elbows tied together but her wrists freed.
“Bring your hands up toward mine and I will try to untie them”, Kenzie says. Sarah does and Kenzie starts to work on the knots cinching her wrists together. It takes her a while but she is finally able to get those knots undone as well and after some struggling Sarah is able to pull her wrists free although her elbows are also still tied.
Now that both girls have their wrists free they begin to work on each other's elbow bindings. This is a little bit easier and goes a little bit faster. They get the elbow bindings off and now their arms are free. It does not take them much time to get the rest of the ropes untied from their upper bodies but it does take several minutes for them to untie the many ropes and knots binding their legs. After about 15 more minutes they're finally free.
“Wow that was difficult”, says Sarah.”
I know”, Kenzie says. “But we did it.”
“Yes we did”, says Sarah.
“Do you think you will want to try that again?” asks Kenzie.
“Yes I do”, says Sarah. “That was fun. I do have a question though.”
“What's that?” asks Kenzie.
“How long does it take for these rope marks to go away on my wrists?” asks Sarah.
“Let's just say you might be wearing long sleeves for a couple days”, says Kenzie.
And so ends the story of the kidnapping of Kenzie and the follow up. Kenzie and her friend Sarah may very well end up in future short stories. We will see about that.
