The Files of Art. Inc.: The Hunt for the Weinstein-Collection Special Update (04.06.2022) (FFMMM/F)

Post by Caesar73 »

Preface

Hi Folks, before I post my first story on this board, I think some preliminiary remarks are in order :)

First:

I´m no native speaker and so I do apologize beforehand for any mistakes regarding syntax or vocabulary or factual errors. These are mine and mine alone.

Second:

When I began writing this story my primary goal was to finish the story this time. I have made several attempts in the past, but never gotten very far. One paragraph, one page. That was it. A few weeks ago I tried writing again - and this time it worked - surprisingly well.

During the writing process I discovered, that the plot had the potential for more than one part. So I continued writing - and so far the muses have been kind to me :) Part 2 is in the works. Honestly I have no idea how long it will take to finish this project but I will give my best.

If anybody would have told me three weeks ago, that I would write 42 Pages in this time, I surely would have asked him, if he had lost his marbles :)

Third:

I want to thank several people (in alphabetical order) :) Without their input, support and inspiration I would never have gotten this far.

I thank @Bandit666 for encouraging me along the way and lots of helpful input. Bandit was so generous to read the whole story and made many helpful corrections.

I thank @mrjones2009 He encouraged me to try to write myself. His Saga "Nothing Personal" has been in many ways an inspiration

I thank @wolfman for reading each and every chapter and correcting many idiomatic errors and for inspring me with his stories. Wolfman also made many helpful suggestions for developing the plot further.

Any feedback is welcome of course :)

Introduction:

Hamburg, Wednesday, 07. September, 1600:

It was a sunny, mild Day, warm but not hot, a soft, slight, salty, breeze blew across the Binnenalster. Seagulls screeched high in the sky, In a Café with a view directly at the Neue Jungfernstieg, sat a woman tipping on her IPad and sometimes looking at the Building Number 12. At the second last Floor, the Lights were still on.

“Working late”, the woman mused, whose eyes were hidden behind large sunglasses, her face shadowed by a straw hat, which obscured her face. Her dark hair was cut in a stylish Bob.

A more careful observer might have noticed the trained muscles of her bare shoulders and upper arms. All in all one could get the impression of a lioness, totally relaxed but ready to jump her prey in an instant. The woman sipped at her Aperol Spritz.

If said observer could have seen the screen of her IPad, he might have read this:

Mission Parameters for Operation Black Eagle

Target: Christine von der Marwitz

Profession: Pianist, grandiose Chopin- and Schumann Interpret, Art Detective, speciality: Recovery of stolen or lost Scores, Instruments and other art works.

Begin of the Operation, Saturday, September 10th, 1800 hours

Primary Objective: Deliver a warning

Secondary Objective: Having fun

"Nope, not necessarily in that Order“, The Dark Lady mused – and grinned. Of course ever the consummate Professional she would deliver said warning precisely – and having fun, lots of it.

From her point of view she could see, that the lights at the Top Floor of the Office Building, which housed the offices of Art Inc., the Agency founded by Christina von der Marwitz, were still lit. As usual at this hour the CEO of Art Inc. was alone at her Office.

Art. Inc. resided at the Neue Jungfernstieg, with an unobstructed view across the Binnenalster. The two topmost floors belonged to Art. Inc. The second last floor housed the Offices of Art. Inc., while the topmost floor, were the lodgings of Christine von der Marwitz, when she worked late or had business in town.

The security system was state of the Art. An Artificial Intelligence. It was considered as impenetrable. In the professional opinion of the The Dark Lady there was no such thing as „impenetrable”.

Laying her hand on the plans of the security System had been a rather simple matter:

A thorough background check of all employees, of the firm which had installed it, a little good old fashioned blackmail and a transfer of an amount of money into a secret bank account at the Bahamas, and voilà!

But the ultimate breakthrough: Old plans of the City of Hamburg. They showed that in the Underground of the old and venerable Freie- und Hansestadt Hamburg a system of Canals and Sewers still existed. Right beneath Neue Jungfernstieg 12.

One of those Tunnels granted easy access to one of the many Bunkers for the Population of Hamburg, built during WW II. One of those Bunkers granted access to the Cellars of Neue Jungfernstieg 12.

So much to “Impenetrable”, the Dark Lady chuckled to herself. The necessary equipment was already in place in said Bunker.

It's cool that you've cast actual actresses as the characters, and the setup is very intriguing, looking forward to more my friend.

And good on you for committing to writing this story 🙂

Chapter One:

Hamburg, Saturday, September 10, 1800:

Christine read the latest reports regarding the primary operation of Art. Inc.:

Finding and recovering the “Weinstein-Collection.” Oskar Weinstein, a Philantrop of a Jewish Family, which had prospered Generations in Hamburg, was a Benefactor and Collector of all Kinds of Art.

Especially Scores. Scores, Instruments, among them the Grand Piano Franz Liszt had first played his Sonata in b-minor on, Paintings of the Old Masters. Rumour had it, that among the scores were some autographs of Chopin and Beethoven, never published before. The Weinsteins belonged to the mercantile Aristocracy of Hamburg, venerable, well connected, and respected – and of course tremendously rich. Then a little man from Linz in Austria rose to Power. Everything changed.

One day a respected member of the Community, a social Pariah the next. Oskar Weinstein and his Wife and two of his Children “escaped” the Concentration Camps of Auschwitz and Majdanek.

Obersturmbannführer Hermann Mueller, later right hand to Reinhard Heydrich, one of the Architects of the "Endlösung” saw to that personally, after he “persuaded” Oskar Weinstein to present him with most of the Weinstein-Collection in exchange for safe passage to the United States. “Reichsfluchtsteuer”, the Nazis called that euphemistically.

The Weinsteins left for the United States. Weinstein survived the Genocide. But all the rest of the Family perished in the Concentration Camps. Oskar Weinstein died a broken man shortly after the war.

During the collapse of the Third Reich the Trace of Hermann Mueller and the Weinstein-Collections grew cold. There were Witnesses, who swore that he died during the battle of Budapest fighting the Red Army.

And so Hermann Mueller became one of the many soldiers, missing in action during the fogs of War in 1945 – who vanished, and the Weinstein Collection with him.

Decades passed. And then during a research at the Simon-Wiesenthal-Centre, Rachel Weinstein, a Grandchild of the late Oskar Weinstein found reliable Witness-Acounts which lead her to the conclusion that Mueller had survived the war and escaped the Allies - with the Weinstein-Collection.

At that point Art Inc came into play. Rahel Weinsteins Family tasked Art Inc with finding Mueller and/ or the Weinstein Collection and bringing the alleged war criminal to justice and recover what was left of the collection.

The research of Christine and her team was not missed by certain people. And so the Dark Lady came into play: “Deliver a warning”, her Employer told her. “Scare her off, but refrain from causing any permanent damage – for now.”

“And do not damage her hands. It would be a shame if she couldn't play Chopin anymore. Her last recital in Berlin was outstanding. Nobody plays the last three Etudes of op. 25 like her, if you have not heard her playing these Etudes you have never heard them at all!”

Good start, and finally I can comment on one of your stories, paying back for those countless comments! When I read the title, I thought it would about a very specific Weinstein. ;)

Two small remarks:
-Your pictures in the character description do not seem to be working. I think the command should be img instead of image, but I am not sure (I never use pictures here).

- For me, the only trace of non native English were the capitalized nouns, which is a really small issue.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

How exciting to see a longtime commenter try his hand at creating his own world!

I'm torn on whether I find Anna or Kate the most attractive. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing any one of your lovely characters bound and gagged.

The amount of time you spent explaining the history of the Weinstein collection has me thinking that this is a mystery that will play into those historical details? That's an exciting idea for a TUG story, and I look forward to seeing where you take it!

Finally, he joined the fold of those elusive figures... story writers.

It is fun to read your story, knowing that German is your main language and I can still see that in the story (lots of capitals were English does not have any). Don't worry, no criticism, just an observation that betrays your background. It makes the story yours, which is what you want. And it is great to see other writers help out.

It also shows you the other end of the comments, people are now commenting your story, not somebody else. That craving for more comments will come soon enough, or that disappointment when there is only one (or even less) comments after writing a chapter.

With the detail of your story, you might be here for a while! Well done.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to comment.

Hi @TomYi, you will see one character tied up and gagged very soon, I can promise you that :) For the others? That would be telling :)

The historical background is important for the overall plot. The plot is centered around the "Beutekunst". Another key asspect will be classical music. You may have noted that, when you take look at the Cast - and the introduction. There will be a connection between the two themes ;) Which? That will remain to be seen - and honestly? I have a rough idea for the grand finale in mind, but that is about it :)

Thank you for your kind words @slackywacky, they mean a lot. Yep, the details. I guess there are two reasons. For one thing, I find details important to give the story more "colour", on the other hand: Accuracy is important to me. I want a story which is credible, when I write about locations, historical persons, the like ....

And for being here for a while? :) That may be the case .... I finished today´s work at Page 50 :)

What I'm getting most from this is a pride and respect for your German culture. I think a lot of stories here take place either in the US or UK, and there's nothing at all wrong with that, but it's wonderful to see a writer setting a story in their homeland that doesn't come from those two places, much like how I try to set my stories in Australia ❤️

@Caesar73 it was my pleasure and a delight to be able to help in any way possible. For to see such a well thought out and nearly presented tale such as this is always a bonus for all. But best of all it’s all your own work and you’re getting the praise you deserve 8-)

This is chapter II folks!

Chapter II:

“And there we are”, the Dark Lady mused. Her primary target had been so engrossed in her work, that she did not notice the Dark Lady entering her office – or so it seemed anyway:

"Lovely evening, isn't it?“, Christine spoke without looking up. The Dark Lady was impressed. Christine's well-modulated Alto Voice betrayed neither the tiniest hint of surprise nor irritation. "Indeed, it is and it will get even better, not to mention amusing - at least for me“, the Dark Lady smirked.

Christine looked up, displaying no signs of anger or fear, just an expression of polite professional courtesy. The kind of expression, you wear at a business meeting with a difficult but valuable client. "You could have called in advance and made an appointment though. I could have arranged a meeting at a less work related location.”

"I could have. Indeed. But where would be the fun in that? I always found surprises more entertaining you know."

"Well“, said Christine, "as much as I would like to continue our conversation, why don't we get to business. To what do I owe the dubious pleasure of making your personal acquaintance?“

"Straight to the point as usual“ – the Dark Lady chuckled. "Okay then: My Employer wants a warning delivered: “Refrain from the trail of the "Weinstein-Collection“.

"Then why the bother? A polite letter would have sufficed“, Christine said. “I would have even read it – before throwing it into the bin.”

"My Employer thought, a more direct approach necessary, to make his point, a more – how shall I phrase it? - lasting impression. But as we are on tight schedule here, as you say, let us waste no more time.”

"Would you be so kind to get in front of your desk, Christine? And be sure not to make any sudden movements. I get spooked easily, and it would be a shame to use that tranquilizer gun. You would get a really nasty bruise and an equally nasty hang over too.“

"There are two ways, we can do that“, The Dark Lady explained:

Option One: You follow my instructions to the letter and do nothing stupid.“

"And the second option?“, Christine countered,

“I zap you into oblivion and proceed from there”, the Dark Lady replied.

“It may be a little self-serving, but I would prefer your cooperation :) lifting dead weight is a tedious job for me and you can enjoy the experience more if you are awake – as much as I do.”

Christine stood up and made her way around the desk. The thought about making a move crossed her mind fleetingly. But The Dark Lady kept her distance. She would never be able to bridge the gap between them in time. The Dark Lady was a Professional after all, Christine had to admit grudgingly.

The Dark Lady gave her the quick once over. The beige business costume fitted Christine perfectly. A white blouse, nude pantyhose and matching High Heels from Louboutin.

„Okay, what do you want me to do?“

"Begin with taking of your shoes“; Christine stepped out of her High Heels. "Nice red Nail polish and those toe rings are beautiful."

"Do you want some too? I can arrange that.“, Christine countered.

"Maybe later. Now your jacket, blouse and skirt. Chop, chop!“ Christine took of her Jacket, folded it neatly and put it on her desk, went on unbuttoning her blouse, without any haste, unzipped her skirt and stepped out of it.

The Dark Lady liked what she saw; the trained and sculpted and chiselled body of an Athlete, a nearly feline grace. "You can keep Bra, Panties and Pantyhose – for the time being" She smiled.

"How very kind of you - and now? “ Christine folded her Arms across her chest, radiating defiance.

"Why don't you do a nice and slow pirouette for me. “ “Up on your toes Prima Ballerina!”
Christine turned gracefully around, under the Dark Lady's watchful gaze. “You have got Talent, you know?” “Look at those perfectly sculpted Calves, those wonderful feet!” "You know, for such a tall woman, you are very agile on your feet."

Christine just rolled her eyes.

"Take this and insert it in your pussy“ The Dark Lady threw a torpedo shaped object in her direction. Christine caught it and turned it over in her hands. Whatever Material this tool was made of, it was no ordinary metal, a soft pliable surface with a round plate at the end. She inserted the object in her Vagina, without breaking eye contact. It felt strange. The object seemed to move.

"Does it fit nicely? “ The Dark Lady asked, obviously sensing the discomfort of her prey, while Christine pulled her panties and pantyhose up. “Getting all of your personal measurements, and I mean all, was no easy feat.”

"You see, this little toy is state of the art. It will mould itself to every aspect of you anatomy, making it impossible to dislodge. The pad at the rear end will press against your clitoris. It will vibrate randomly. “

She threw a Christine a knotted rope. "Wrap it round your waist once, tie it, pass the ends between your legs and secure it at the back. I have pre-tied it with all the knots in the right places. “Christine did as told. She drew in a sharp breath as she tightened the knotted rope

"We will see later, if I can adjust it a little. Seems a little lose, if you ask me. “The Dark Lady chuckled. „For now, why don't you set your delectable ass on the floor? “Christine looked up, at the command.

“Take some of these ropes and tie your legs: Ankles, calves, below the knees, above the joint and around your thighs! I want a nice and symmetrical job. Don't waste your time looking at me, go on!“

Christine took the first rope and, found its centre and tied her ankles together. 15 Minutes later: "Nice and tidy. You really could work as professional rigger“, The Dark Lady commented.

"Up now, stand up before your desk. Time is Money“

Getting upright with your legs tied in five places was no easy task, but Christine managed it. She stared at her Nemesis. "Turn around, hands behind your back.", came the swift command.

The Dark Lady produced two bondage mittens. The mitts had a small buckle at the wrist section which she tightened to lock the mitts in place. Christine winced as the buckle was secured and tried wriggling her fingers.

The mitts were thickly padded and severely limited the movement of her fingers. That combined with the silky smoothness of the fabric on both the inside and outside of the mitts meant that trying to pick something up almost impossible rendering her hands useless.

"Do you like them? These were custom made too. Only the best for you.“ The Dark Lady grinned. My employer spared no money and effort to accommodate you. Keeping your precious hands safe is a top priority for him!“

“He would like you to play a Recital of Chopin – only for him.”

"I don´t do private Recitals“, Christine muttered, a little less defiant than before.

"Do I detect a little annoyance here?“ You really should be more grateful my Dear.“ In the next fifteen minutes the Dark Lady tied Christine’s wrists and her elbows, beneath and above the joint. A breast harness followed. All tight and snug, the knots well out of reach.

"Didn't I do well? You do not need to answer, the question was merely rhetorical, I admit !“

The Dark Lady turned Christine around: "Apropos answering, one thing is missing. Any Idea what? No? Cat got your tongue? No quip this time?”

It doesn't matter. You´ll see in a moment!“ "You know waht they say? "Women should be seen and not heard, especially intelligent and beautiful ones?"

That was... magnificent. The way you write is a thing to behold. Building the scene slowly, yet the storytelling never drags, building the characters while describing other things... I am so looking forward to where this story will be headed.

Thank you, @TayDay95 :) One reason for choosing those locations is, that I feel more comfortable to write about locations I know.

The other reason is the plot itself: The plot evolves around a dark Chapter of the history of the Third Reich, one of many, the so called "Beutekunst". Artworks the Nazis robbed and plundered from their former owners.

The References to classical music reflect one of my own hobbys. I´m very fond of classical music, especially Chopin as you may have already guessed :)

The quest for the Weinstein-Collection will lead the Detectives to places connected with the history of the Third Reich, that much I can tell you :)

Only just been able to start reading this and i have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. I like how Christine has no choice but to follow the dark lady’s instructions on tying herself up. Each bond feels like its sealing her fate, very nicely done.

Looking forward to the next part! :)

Great continuation and nice build up to the real ties. Let's see how professional our professional is when it gets to the most important part: Tying her victims up. Keep it up!

One small remark: Are you sure your story title is correct? I think the part one is redundant (but I might be wrong).
